Yup, the guy who updated TF episodes from armada, energon, cybertron, alittle bit of RID and animated. I don't have any idea why youtube suspended him, but they did.
The good news is, he's back under the name Transformers2fan. He only has a few videos right now, so basically everything is gone.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, it was a bit fuzzy to me for where to put this.

One would assume youtube suspended him because for breach of copyright. Did he upload like, LOTS of episodes? Those Transformers episodes are owned by Hasbro & associated partners, and the shows they belong to are still available for sale in some form or other.

That's a pity. He was providing a good service for the fandom. I'm certainly not going to bother to be a slave to television schedules.

There you go then. Hasbro tries to be nice, but when we push our luck, they'll come down hard.

I'd buy the episodes on DVD if they were available here.

This is no shocker. It's the second time this user's account has been suspended--he was first offering full episodes under "fanoftransformers". He simply changed his account name and started uploading again.

He should've known better. You get booted off youtube once for copyright violations, what makes you think doing the same thing twice is going to get a different reaction?

Cartoon Network and Kabillion both have to pay lots of money to Hasbro/distributor Entertainment Rights in order to air the shows. Why should anyone think some fan's going to get off easy for trying to do the same thing for free?

He probably got banned for using his Youtube videos to try and sell bootleg DVDs.

no shock here, anything that is out on DVD is off limits, so while I agree it was a nice service, buy the DVD if you want to support the franchise.

And, yes, I realize a lot of it wasn't on DVD, but the fact that a lot of it is, is enough for suspension.

Well, he is selling illegal DVDs from his website, so he deserves to be banned. The RID DVDs he is selling uses Maximum Entertainment's own copyrighted cover art.

Wow, didn't know that. Well if thats the case, then he diserves to be banned.
I plan on buying the TFA season 1 DVD so I can watch them anytime I want.
Seriously, TFA is just too good.

That guy was my defacto Animated station, actually. It was so much easier to watch his stuff on YouTube than getting up @ 11am to watch it on TV every Saturday morning, let alone suffer through all the bullshit of YTV.

As much as we enjoyed him bringing us animated,
if he's selling bootleg dvd's, he's breaking law,
violating copywrite rules and deserves the suspension.
It just isn't going to stick if he can just change his name and start over again.
His new channel has link to site selling bootlegs.
He has all 26 eps of animated available.
And like any bootlegger, he tries to justify it.
He's no better than the guys selling dvd's on street corners.
Just waiting for the next sucker.

Dude, I remember this same exact post about 6 or 7 months ago... or was it even longer? Anyway, the name changed and suddenly the videos went up and life was good. The cycle will continue...

...or we could buy the DVDs.. :peoples:
