i just read the book and now im hyped for the movie, discuss the movie and book.

    Fantastic Mr Fox 8/10
-Good book but the things that put me off is that the artwork is slightly kiddish and could have looked better, and the book is abit too short.

Well it IS a kid's book.
And besides, Quentin Blake's artwork is iconic.

The book itself, a glorious 10/10. One of my favourites. As far as Roald Dahl is concerned its second only to The Enormous Crocodile.

I trust Wes Anderson to make a fine film, so I'll be there on opening day.

Movie looks great with its animation and cast. Plus it's a movie based off Roald Dahl's book. How can you go wrong with that?

I'm actually looking forward to this. That little whistle thing he does for some reason was really cool to me....don't ask why, because I don't even know...

saw this today, and it's really terrific. I didn't think it looked great in the trailers, and for a while, I was thinking it wouldn't appeal to the kid target audience. But when the story really gets going, I can't imagine any kid not wanting to see what happens next.

I liked it so much better than UP(which I saw recently). I used to watch almost every animated film, and they can tend to be very bland. I felt that way about UP, though it hardly epitomises what I'm talking about. What I miss is that they all seem to lack a sense of personality. They're all so devoid of observation.

    This film was refreshing.

Looking forward to seeing this. The first trailer I thought looked... awkward, with a lot of seemingly misplaced facial close ups, but I was still intrigued. The second trailer I saw was done a lot better and made me laugh a good couple times.
