Glad that I go for a more stylized look. I have even intentionally moved faction symbols away from where they were in the cartoon to where they are more aesthetically pleasing (did so on Weirdwolf, as the symbol looked more natural higher up. in the "box" on his chest).

It'd be a nice optional piece.

Well, how about that? A 3P minibot with rubber tires. Take note XTB.
    Looking forward to this.

Lovely, Definitely picking this guy up for my bot mode piece. I think Arkose can be alt mode as the FT one is a little too chibby styled for me.

    Wow.
    !!!
    All three look fantastic.
I hope Fans Toys has a radical uptick in quality and design. Like yesterday.

I have Arkose on pre-order, but I'd have to see what the final product looks like. It's so easy to get swept up in the new, and I do not want to lose track of the aesthetic needing to fit in the rest of the S2 crew.

Ah well, there goes the chances of a symbol switching gimmick. If the legs are diecast though I wonder if a magnetic Autobot badge would be possible just for alt mode?
Interesting that FT anticipated MP Bumblebee v2 with the chibi vibe. Those two should look great together.

I wonder if they anticipated the height that MP-45 is at vs MP-21? 45 is a bit taller than 21 from the newest pics of them together. Minibot scale is all over the place now if you have 3rd part minibots.

I wouldn't mind Beachcomber being equal height with BB... basically as long as BC isn't smaller I think it will work.

    Interesting.
Do we have shots of anything we know the height of so we can judge how the FT guys scale? I think Warpath is carbot size?

FT Seaspray is tiny. Like, really small. It's painful beside DX9 Powerglide and XTB Cosmos.

One of the few FT designs I didn't like; uncharacteristically off-model and too small. Don't suppose they'll be making a Seaspray v2 anytime soon, but I don't mind mixing and matching companies for minibots - DX9 Powerglide and XTB Cosmos have ticked those characters off the list as far as I'm concerned. I hope FT do Windcharger/Tailgate, Huffer/Pipes and Wheelie in their new toon style, as the versions I have on the shelf are all compromised in some way or other.

Kind of irked they used so much diecast in Beachcomber, at some point it makes about enough sense as a solid gold toilet seat.

I'm honestly not sure on that much diecast, but I am glad that the roll cage is diecast for sure.

We've seen the back and it isn't there, so the only option I can imagine is it folds inside the torso. From the pictures in the first post the back end (behind the seats) folds up 90 degrees (you can see the depressions that might be for tail lights at the top of his back by his shoulders and on the bottom of the back of the alt mode), and it looks like the torso slides to make reveal the stomach area which adds a little more space.

bummer about the Autobot symbol cut in half and upside down on his leg in bot mode. I guess it could be worse.
