I got this and the Toyworld version. I like to randomly swap between the two in my display. Just a way to bring a bit of the inconsistent G1 character animation to my display.

 

I've got this version and may double did on Aces Trident.

 

Seeing the G1 versions gives me the feels. In some ways they have more charm than the updated MP style figures.

I wouldn't say its a fail at all.

Better than Mr Staypuft Seaspray from Toyworld though. 

 

Not to mention you don't have to worry about FT falling apart or clearance issues.

 

honest question about Seaspray.. is he really that much better than the Titans Return one? I always wanted one.. my friend had one when i was a kid and i'd always transform him back and forth while at that friend's house..

but.. the Titans Seaspray looks pretty darn good (i don't have him yet though)... at 6x the cost, is the Fanstoys one honestly worth it?

a little of both.. i'm not a scale junky.. just a 'hey it looks cool on my shelf' collector.

 

It looks like a really nice toy, but I'm afraid it's just not Seaspray for me if he isn't a tubby sad sack

Thank you for the close up pictures. I just realized what bugged me about the FT Seaspray - toe tabs.

 

Could you refer me to the thread post/YouTube vid that shows this?? I've heard of it, but yet to actually see it/have it explained in detail ...
