Welcome to the Minibots game FT!!!

I think the more square head is what I'll be using. It will help with the tubby appeal.
I wonder if the arm lasers can be removed? I remember him having lasers in alt mode in "Sea Change," but I only remember him having a pistol in bot mode. I also don't remember his G1 toy having them.

    This looks interesting!
I'm glad they did a minibot that no one else has tackled yet.
I wonder if we'll have the Seaspray wars in 2018?
TBH, Badcube are the only company I'd take, over this. Here's hoping they make him a bit more chubby, like TW has with Cosmos.

I loved that episode! Still have it on VHS!

Would have preferred Cliffjumper to be FT's first Minibot but I like Seaspray too so I'll probably get him.

I prefer this figure's slimmer proportions over the toon tubbiness. Loved the original toy more than how he was in the show. That voice! I can appreciate what Oppenheimer was trying to go for, but hearing it now is cringeworthy.

    I absolutely love it, it's so ridiculous...Merman from He-man.

    :lol

The one with Call of the Primitives on it as well, if you bought it in the shops, another episode I really enjoyed and still do to this day.

I'm so glad they didn't go with the toon pudgy look.

It was an official shop-bought Video cassette, but it didn't have Call of the Primitives on it. It was Heavy Metal Wars.

My opinion is mixed. I certainly wouldn't want a look nearly as pudgy as the toon. However, this seems a bit overly sleek a design.

I dunno, really want to see him in color (Unexpected Panda you listening?). I really hope those tiny arm cannons can be either removed or hidden in both modes. Since I know they weren't usually present.

Guess they went with a pure cartoon model instead of trying to find a real world analog. Granted, the closest I've ever been able to find is a military model of the SRN6 twin prop hovercraft.

I like it, but it looks too heroic. Needs to be dumpier.

The last pic looks like he has two different foot sizes to choose from. Interesting.

    I"m all over this!

I had HFTD Seaspray taking his place right now. I REALLY like that figure, but its SS on roids. This guy is perfect!

Fanstoys is going to be emptying my wallet for sure! I'm still on the fence with Omega. I REALLY want him, but I could be happy with a YOTS version, too. And I think those may be getting fire sold so people can grab the FT version. Maybe I'll buy both, I love Omega that much.

Not what I'm looking for in a Seaspray, which is a shame as I love the toy and character. Too greebly, too heroic and missing the neck/schoulder 'shelf' for the head. Does look good next to MP Bee though, and still the best Seapray option at the moment.

Doh, I missed commenting on this in all the Omega Supreme/Devastator hubbub. I realize he's not quite animation accurate in his proportions, but I really like this guy anyway. I especially like his alt mode proportions, which is exactly how I remember him in the toon.

That said, I can see BadCube making a more definitive version.
