Really hoping they keep doing headmasters. Gotta get more pics on this but lol it could be a while,,, or not. Are there rules about discussing a figure regarding it being available or not? Just wondering. If not, Sorry if it's annoying. I don't expect every person to be please about anything, ever. I thought there was another pic besides the first post though. Daddy needs MP headmasters. Does this also mean that it's going to be a Perfect Fusion release, now?

On the one hand I'm totally with you on this - especially when that fuc&%^g Caesium thread is involved. On the other hand this is a discussion board, and in fact some interesting discussions can evolve around things that haven't seen the light of day yet. (Then again, talking about how you grill your steak stretches it a bit. :banghead:  ) There should be some kind of function on the boards to differentiate thread bumps. Like some icon popping up in the title of the thread when real news are posted. The mods could activate that blinking "NEWS" gif for 24 hours...just an idea.

Of course, but there's some that bump threads for absolutely no reason other than to try to funny like in the caesium thread.

I get it if your making discussion about it but bumping for no reason is dumb.

I really do want to get Mindwipe. I want to see what my current options are. Not sure if this or Sigma L are the only wants out that Voyager class or larger.

Discussion is great. Simply bumping it to ask if there's anything new is silly because if there was anything new, it would have been posted. It's essentially asking a question to which the answer is already known, needlessly bumping the thread, and getting people's hopes up that there's news because the thread got bumped, when there isn't actually anything new or anything of substance to discuss.

If I don't ask, how will I know if multiple people in the community have news that they are intentionally withholding from me?

Seriously tho, there's kind of a weird meta-competition among people to be the first to "break" the news or post updates. It's a safe bet that no news generally means no news.

I'm willing to rehash old discussions though. Not everyone participates in every discussion that has happened on a thread's past. It's not like I've made a thousand posts about a toy/cartoon line from 30 years ago.

In the spirit of bringing up old discussions, I still think they're largely using a retool of the Soar design for this guy. Which I'm cool with cuz I'm pretty happy with Soar except for his dino feet.

Of course! Discussion is great, but a post just asking if there are any updates contributes nothing to the discussion. He doesn't grasp that. It's okay though, we don't hold his disability against him. ;)

Glad to know there is interest in what? The figure?

Also, why not just the actual question you have to begin with the bump, as in what are your options for Mindwipe? Currently, the only one that officially declared one in the Masterpiece scale is FT, and only released one in terms of 3rd party is the FP one and that is for CHUG scale.

You must die heretic!!! Thou shalt not bumpeth for no reason!

always gonna be people bumping sleeping threads asking for news. but it's not like they are doing it for the sake of messing with people.

always gonna be people telling people not to bump threads for no reason, which by extension also bumps the thread for no reason.

    Never stop being you TFW2005.

But seriously they need to do a better job with their headmaster articulation than they did with Lupus. I think the articulation potential was great, but the lack of clearance in the shoulder parts that hindered some of the arm movement seemed like something that could have been addressed without breaking the bank.

For the record Gamerlingual. You go ahead and ask away. I for one do not want to trawl through posts trying to find an update when a quick and brief question will get an answer.

I'm no Headmasters guy at all, I don't like the Rebirth episodes and I loathe the series. But there is a scene early in Headmasters where Mindwipe puts Grimlock to sleep. Plus he talks with a European Count Dracula accent. That makes him stand out. And maybe that's reason enough for me to buy him - in 2019!

Seriously, FT, hurry up with your Springer, Kup, Arcee, Blitzwing and Slag! And wasn't that Grimlock head upgrade scheduled for an August release?

    I've got this covered:

So, you want to ask about a figure without suffering the wrath of the oddly irritable fandom? The better alternative, don't ask the question. Instead, light a candle, a lone beacon in the depths of forgotten threads to let FT know you still care.
