Sadly I’m not allowed to. Explicit directions not to show or really say anything.

Fair enough, I look forward to your proper review then. Any clues as to his release timeline?

I hope your "interesting" doesn't have the same meaning that mine does. :lol

Koot reminds me of their Reflector. The folding looks similar and it also has an "interesting" transformation.

Then what's the point of them sending you an early production model?

Wow, never seen (or paid attention) to that back-pack. It's actually enticing me to get the toy, if that makes any sense. Cant explain it, but i love it. If only the face was nicer, but from that angle, dont have to worry about that....

Just holding onto one of tfcon samples for Toy Dojo since I live close to the con. We will have to send it back to them.

To be fair MP-28 huge backpack is one of many things that together put him in the sucky category.

Could be. But Koot in robot mode looks way better than their Reflector.

At least any hint from them when this guy is due?

Wait for Hodluum to come out and have a gigantic survival backpack and hear them say it's the best thing since sliced bread. Happens all the time.

What's that popular phrase so many people say?

I don't display my figures backwards?

Naw, that's different this is Fanstoys:p  I always find it funny when people whole heartily bash something and then do a complete 180 when its convenient for them. Kind of like I hate Takara's toon look but I love MT's Downbeat and Howling Meteor, it's just different.

KFC's reflector is my favorite, by FT's reflector is spot on if you want a toon look. Better than any of the other options in that regard.

As for the backpack on Koot, honestly a backpack doesn't bother me, but this one just looks sloppy.

Tbh I don't really care about the backpack. In the past things have appeared to be weird or big on camera or in pictures but then they turn out to not actually be that way. If they are, I don't really care that much. I'd love to see anyone design a perfect Kup or any figure, who looks exactly like how everyone wants. I get displaying your figures on a set with a backdrop, that is the appeal of the clean backpack idea. I think that's fine, but I just don't think that really matters to me. As long as it looks like as much as the character to me as possible, I am satisfied, I am not picky. I can see why people would be picky but..it's not a breaking point for me personally. I feel like being that picky leads basically to just not owning a complete set of characters, and that's what I'm after. Idk, just my two cents.

This 100X. MT's Starscream is more Cartoon Accurate than anything TT has put out yet, and those same geniuses that bash it (the look), love it now. lol?

The size of the backpack isn't really an issue for me, but I do wish it was a little cleaner. There's just a bit of an unfinished quality to the backpack that is so uncharacteristic of what we've come to expect from FansToys. It's by no means a deal breaker for me, and I am still very much looking forward to this figure, but I am a little disappointed that they don't seem to have hit a home run with this one. In case it isn't obvious from my handle and avatar pic, Kup is kind of a big deal for me.
