Wow! It looks pretty, pretty cool in robot mode. Far better than TT.

 

I purchased the TT Hot Rod KO, but this will really be my Hot Rod. Well done FT.

Side note: I'm not feeling their Kup or Springer ATM.

 

If MP-09 is Rodimus "old fart" and MP Hot Rod is "turbo-revvin' young punk", then Hoodlum is "I never stuffed the Matrix into my chest but I did grow up and put on a few pounds and a bit of muscle so dudes like Springer don't kick sand in my face at the beach".

I don't like that face, which is nicely sculpted but is too broad-chinned/fails to capture the youthful boyishness of our hotheaded young friend. And I definitely don't like the "head on a plate" look instead of it segueing nicely into his iconic collar.

It's a solid "maybe" for me

Not digging the round face/helmet or the overly thick exhaust pipes but this blows TT out of the water. Do want.

 

Helmet brim is a hair too low.

Otherwise, much better than the TT Chugsterpiece.

Still too small for my MP shelf though.

 

Nice! Rear wheels of alt mode looks questionable though.

Damn Springer is big. Maybe too big.

The head sculpt looks kind of terrible though, right?

 

It doesn't bother me, but maybe you could use the head from the Takara.
