i'm finding his waist swivel to be a bit limited. can i just sand that back pack a little to improve his waist swivel or will that affect the transformation?

 

No. Mine does the same. Haven’t found a fix...

 

I have this blue version as well, and it is far more stunning in person than in pictures. This is saying a lot since cool people like Sixo can take such awesome pics like this. Easily one of my favorite variants, period. I call this one Grinder and the regular one Grimlock.  

 

At first I wasn't going to pick the blue version up at all but then I discovered that yes, it looks great in person.

I put my order for the Blue Grinder yesterday on The Chosen Prime since it show at the moment I placed my order that it was instock.

I got charged already and I went to website and now it shows the waiting list option. I hope this means I manage to get my order just in time and it was the last one available.

So...... I finally got Grimlock lol. TFsource put him on sale today

Also he is my first Fanstoys figure believe it or not. I've only been collecting for about 3 years now, but so glad to add this figure.

I'm really looking forward to him...order shipped today so when I get back in town he should be there. At some point I'd like to get all of the Dino bots but they look hard to find.

I have a few more FT figures along with other companies on my list to get to finish up my G1 lineup (season 1 and 2 and some characters from the movie) but I've always lived what Fanstoys has done and happy to ha r my first figure

 

After being on the road with work I was finally able to have sum free time and open my new toys lol.. Grinder is SWEEEEEEEWT! Definitely glad I grabbed him. I ordered the new Dino head as well so when that comes in I'll transform him.

 

I picked up the G2 version and can’t wait for it.

 

Glad you like him, the jury is still out on his proportions for me but his handling, playbility and fun factor is right up there with TT's MP-22 as one of the most fun figures ever. I love the FT stroke of genius in covering up the the leg kibble, simple but effective, Takara like.

 

It is awesome in person.

 

Just picked this guy up for a great price in a facebook group. I don't know, I think I may like this deco better than the G1.

 

He really needs to stop skipping leg day at the gym. Some lunges and squats would help to build those thighs up.

 

If you can, pick up the matching blue updated dino head too.

 

I got it. Still had it at toydojo. I will have to compare him to my FT-08 at home side by side to decide which deco I like better.

Anyways they will be in different parts of my collection. FT-08G will be with my Fanshobby Prime and G2 Bee. Really need some G2 decepticons. Really hope Fanshobby goes through with their G2 tank megatron.
