I'd snap them up at that price.
They made a godzilla one.
What is everyone is personal rule for the emblems on the FT dinos? Do you try an match the MP Grimlocks stickers on the rest? Such as using clear backed emblems on all chromed parts, an white backed emblems on darker parts? Or do you use only one type for both modes? Curious what everyone has done with their emblems. I used the official Grimlock as the pattern for mine as I mentioned.
How did everyone elses emblems turn out on your FT dinos?
Yes!!! But nostalgia tells me this must be a KO. Looks like a job for Cloud 9...
I used the G1 dry rub stickers for my regular Stomp and red chested Soar. The rest of the crew got regular G2 stickers to match their G2ness.
I just use standard silver backed for all the Dinos
Oh, so a unique set of stickers for just them where they were built on earth huh? Nice idea!
As a general rule I use clear backed stickers on everything except when the colour of the robot is pretty close or identical to the colour of the insgnia then I use the silver backed ones!
Yup, it's a KO.
I know. I didn't express myself correctly. As the Prehistory Animals Grimlock was a KO, the MP hommage should be as well.
Loving this guy, I've picked him up more than any of my other figures recently plus his t-rex mode just looks so good with the toon head.
I just wanted to ask is anyone else having the problem with one of the t-rex forearms that keeps popping off. The hand on the other side is fine. It was like that straight out the box, one of the first things I noticed. Interestingly, it's similar to the problem on Koot's targetmaster @dallianjj sorted out a replacement for me so I'll contact him for this too.
I had the same problem with his left dino hand. I contacted @dallianjj and am getting a new one. I checked and it's just the hand, not the ball on the wrist (thank goodness). My FT-08X doesn't have this issue.
Wow, @dallianjj got back to me today and says he will try to get one from the factory. Great after-sales service.
Entire right trex arm pops off for me. Thought I fixed it.
I finally had a chance to put in his alternate head, and I love it. There are some scratches on the nose, which is a minor annoyance.
Nice! You could try to reduce the scratches with Novus plastic polish PROVIDED that's bare plastic and not blue paint...
I'll be damned! That's good to know. Thank you!
The only thing you'd want to be careful of is not to make it too polished. It looks the plastic on your Grinder, unlike RTS Windcharger, is not a high gloss finish. Maybe just No.3 scratch remover???
Yeah, a common "problem" with using Novus polish, is that it will often surpass the factory's level-of-glossiness. So instead of an eye-catching scratch, you now have an eye-catching super-glossy area. I find that sanding/polishing/buffing "dry" with fine sanding sticks etc, will often work a bit better, for "shiny, but not TOO shiny".
