Are we slated to get a turquoise repaint of this guy? It's probably the repaint I want the most.

Doubtful. Dalianjj asked if people preferred blue or turquoise before Bluelock came out

You and me both bud, but I just don't see it happening. :(

The other color for G2 Grimlock.

Edit: Fine FT, I finally caved and bought the last blue Grinder from Baba, so you can go ahead and announce a teal/turquoise version now, so you can make me spend money on this mold a 3rd time. :lol

I bought the one before you Friday night. I have no regrets.

My birthday is early February. So I was going to treat myself to a Baba treat. My choices where purple and green mp10 ko, Mp 39, fanstoys blue trex. I have a variant prime shelf, I have a variant diobot collection, I have a sunsurge I’m comfortable with. Decided to complete my team of StompX, diaclone sever, g2 scoria, toy soar

He will be displayed in alt mode. Currently mp08 is filling that role in my collection as he has found a niche in my movie shelf. If my collection can handle 3 grimlocks on display is tbd.

    Ebay:
G2 had some horrible colours... was there a reason other than to re-use the mold?

The only time I'm aware of him mentioning it was in this thread when he asked for a pic of the turquoise one and wanted to know which one people preferred. This was prior to the release of any version of Grinder (I believe), so I suspect it was at a time when they still could have tweaked the G2 color. IIRC, more people responded that they prefer the darker blue.

Are those regional releases? Or did they really just make two G2 Grimlocks?

There was a blue and turquoise/teal G2 Grimlock, a green and red G2 Slag, and a green and red G2 Snarl.

The teal/turquoise Grimlock, red Slag, and green Snarl had much more limited numbers than the blue Grimmy, red Snarl, and green Slag had.

They actually made 3 G2 Grimlocks. They weren't regional. First run was silver, then they did a turquoise one. Blue was the last one.

I feel shamed for having left out the regular G1 colored Dinobots from the list. :lol
