Thou shall not criticize Stomp.
Not sure what the big deal is. The man wanted stomp x so he bought it. So he he paid $400 but he really wanted it and there were literally no other options for Stomp X at a lower price so he pulled the trigger.
Would it make sense to buy ft-07x if my other fans toys dinobots won't be the x version?
Not really, and especially not since you'd have to pay excessively high prices for it. The regular Stomp is getting a re-issue at its normal price that is supposed to hit retailers next month, so that's a perfect opportunity to get the Stomp that matches the other Dibots (I've got one pre-ordered so I'm in the same boat as you to fill out my Dinobots and check that box on the collection).
Maybe for him it does. Maybe he plans to eventually get all the x versions but wanted to start by acquiring the most scarce x figure before it became completely unavailable first. That makes sense.
I meant for me
I don't think his question is a response to your comment, it's a general question. Btw your posts look odd, like you're having a conversation with someone who's not in this thread.
I found a shop near me that has him, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I just bought grinder, soar, and sever but regular editions. So I'm debating for the reissue or getting the x one
If you can get a Stomp X at its normal retail price, you should, because you could either resell it for a profit or keep it (unopened if you want it to retain max value) in the event you want to collect all of the X variants at some point.
But as to the question of whether you'd want to have one X variant and four regular variants, it would probably look a bit strange unless you have a particular goal of drawing attention to Stomp on the shelf rather than the usual focus being on Grimlock (Grinder) or just keeping all five as visual equals.
You're certainly welcome to your opinion but I'm afraid I don't see it that way. Folks do that all the time across these threads. It's simply posting a statement.
He clarified it for you himself as well though, so it's not just my opinion FansToys FT-07 Stomp (Masterpiece Sludge)
That's a question only he can answer for himself at the end of the day. It comes down to his personal preference. Like Seaspray told Tracks: "Different strokes for different folks."
lol, what I'm saying is that you appear to be having a conversation no one else is, about a particular person paying a ridiculous price for a Stomp-X that ended several pages ago. You're all "Not sure what the big deal is" but there is no big deal. In fact, no one's even talking about that anymore. Yet you're responding to posts like gamerlingual's that have nothing to do with that, so your posts look odd because of it (i.e., "maybe for him it does" has no context to anything on the last couple pages of this thread and is not a relevant response to gamerlingual's question). And gamerlingual himself is clarifying for you that he's asking his question about his own situation. When you reply with Well that's just, like, your opinion maaan, your posts look even more strange. Hope that helps clarify things for you.
I think you're feeling some type of way because you were in the middle of heated exchange regarding another adult's buying preferences. Otherwise I'm not sure why my post that wasn't even a reply to you stirs you up so much.
Okay so you are choosing to be weird about this on purpose for some reason, perpetuating drama that no one else is discussing. Just to correct you on the facts, there was no exchange as I never interacted directly with that poster. I only made one passing comment on the matter, in response to someone else's comment, whereas the other person you're referring to, not apparently acting like an adult, posted a bunch of drunken insults at me that I ignored and which were subsequently deleted. Not sure why that bothers you so much that you want to try to stir things up though.
Can we go back to talking about Stomp now?
Whatever beef you had going on with the other person is something you may want to squash with them one on one if it such a concern. All I did was post a statement. If it don't apply then let it fly.
lol, again, I have no beef with anyone, but you keep trying to promote that idea. Please stop?
Chrome, you applied it to me yourself when you declared "you were in the middle of heated exchange" and "Whatever beef you had going on with the other person". So please consider your own words, they happen to apply to you most of all.
If it don't apply then let it fly.
