... sure does great things for people who held onto their Classics don't they? I remember a year or two ago you could get Classics Hot Rods by the dozens no problem, now that Fansprojects is doing a Rodimus upgrade, they're going for upwards of $50 each. Craziness. Makes me wish I had held onto mine.

Indeed they do. I look forward to the Protector upgrade, the next Warbot and their future products. I hope that since they're doing a Protector upgrade they will do an upgrade for Classics Galvatron to make him Voyager sized along with Hot Rod. Now that would be the $#!T!!!

well said, Joe Hallenbeck, well said.

it is just a given that any third party with a great design team and QC oversight at production can make products that will create a panic for certain figures.

There are strong rumors on the asian boards, that a 3rd party group is making a Galvatron figure. Its not FP though.

given that the Universe/henkei galvatron mold is a complete and utter mess . . . a fresh standalone mold is probably a better idea

    and a welcome one

dammit hasbro, that Galvy mold needed to be at least a voyager to have a chance

The original news on the Universe Galvatron was said for him to be a Voyager. But due to the movie toys, marketing told them there was too many large tank TFs. So we ended up getting the deluxe. I think the reason the design has issues, is because they might of scaled down the original voyager design, and some of the engineering didn't work at the scale.

    the sky is blue

    the earth is round

    water is wet

michael bay robbed us of a proper classics galvatron

yeah, i know they kicked Galvatron from a voyager to a deluxe at an early stage in design and the result was pretty terrible

It will hurt to wait this long, but I feel like Galvatron is a real shoo-in for a Masterpiece. If it's true that Rodimus is coming, then Galvatron really should be next IMHO.

He was an Ultra, IIRC. Onslaught and Brawl being large tanks as well was probably what bumped him down to Deluxe.

Oh yeah, your right. He would of been an ultra. Not sure why I kept thinking he was suppose to be a voyager. Anyways, that would of been even better. :(

I hope FP does some add ons for the War For Cybertron figures.

I could really see them doing some custom heads and things so we can recreate our own multiplayer bots.
I'd like to see them make some weapons, too, like the Giant Energon Axe of Great Justice.

Yea, but the snowman version is twice the price! :sly2:  Although, I haven't looked to see how much the original goes for on ebay...

    Also, FP, I loves you!

On the fence about warbot defender though.

Snowman version is twice the price because you sat and waited. I got it for the original price of $50.

I bought the original gray version for $45 as well.

As has been frequently pointed out, if you want FP stuff, pre-order it and get it early. Wait and the secondary market and appeal will crank up the price.

City Commander was only $75ish when it first came out

As 3rd party products go, FP is very reasonable
