Out of all the companies, I was not expecting Fansproject to be the one of them to do IDW Roller. Of course, with the reveal from one company, there’s usually another who puts their hat in the ring.

Competition is never a bad thing :)

The only thing I am not completely sold on is head size and position. I think it should be smaller and further to the back. Otherwise, looks good enough.

Hm, yeah. Agreed on that one. It just looks ever so slightly off.

Depending on price, this is a very likely buy for me.

Looks great, other than the colors, but those can be fixed and/or may simply be how the render spits it out.

Problem for me is FP has been further along with desirable products and just lost them along the way. Makes it hard to get properly excited.

Alt mode is fine. Botmode proportion is terrible and looks nothing like the character. Hard pass.

(Looks over at 10 MP Springers and shakes head)... Maybe a LITTLE less competition?

It's a very early first rendering, and it already gets most of character's design cues right. Proportions can be tweaked. After all, even MMC's early prototypes looked off (e.g. Tarn) but were resolved nicely.

Have to agree with this. But it looks like it's a Cassy Sark design, which...Explains a lot about why it looks the way it does really.

From the comparison to the original artwork, that area around the head and neck make a big difference...the artwork looks less "confined" in that area.
    carry on...

Totally entertained, by the way, that Fansproject is getting ahead of all the TFCon news right now. It's a good idea from a company that hasn't traditionally been that savvy about marketing.
