BRA to the VO!!! Great review as usual.

I'd just like to add that there have been two (unintended) spots found to store the green blade in botmode...

...but none so far in altmode.

I think you highlighted a CRUCIAL point that I have to repeat:

There's no "over-reaching" - just near flawless execution of a transforming toy. They forsook any "Transformers" homages to instead focus on what made us love this franchise to begin with - cool looking robots that turn into cool looking vehicles/things.

The transformation is simple, but I would say it's "efficient," almost in a way that was reminiscent of Transformers: Animated. There were no real engineering breakthroughs, just smart use of space and moving parts. SteelCore is the same way. Parts move where they need to move, the result is stability all modes, durability (NO TABS THAT BREAK OFF LIKE MASTERMIND CREATIONS), posability, and even proportions.

Then we throw in the Power/Heart-master Gimmick, the two-mode weapon, and a fucking tailer hitch brimming with potential.

Yeah, FansProject is using SteelCore to say, "THE BOSS IS BACK."

Glad to finally see this in moving picture format. Already waiting for my order to be completed (952), so theres no worries about missing out on the first wave. I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one who noticed (just from pictures) that the waist swivle and ab crunch is in an odd location and moves rather...well, oddly. Love the reviews as always. Great things coming from Fansproject!

Would definitely pick this guy up if only he came in Roadbuster colors and a new head/guns to match. I just can't swing the cash on a 3P character-original figure, no matter how nice it is. Great review as always though.

Great review as always Vangelus! I hope your review can help Steelcore, and any other original Fansproject toy in the future, gain a wider audiance. A line of transforming toys of this quality not based on transformers, as much as I like them, need to happen!

The waist joints are pretty useless as they make the figure look awkward, but otherwise it's a stellar toy.

I think even the crotch hinge used in the transformation into altmode is even more of a suspect for use in future add-ons.

I actually like the ab crunch joint. It makes for some wicked poses. Like in my first post, or here...

Also, just wanted to add that I discovered a way to "sort of " have a bayonet mode for the green blade on SC's gun.
