Some very cool pictures of Steelcore. I dig it. I like the look of him, he's kinda cross between Armada Overload and the alt mode of Grimlock from War Within.

I work for a Canadian bike company that designs bikes in Canada but have them manufactured elsewhere, so the "Made in China" might not mean much. I saw the first proto pics for City Commander well before it got announced in a store in BC, plus, it looks like the figures are shipped south of the BC border, so that's why I'm asking.

FansProject members are all over the place - hell even individual members may have multiple home/work sites.

If I have a house in one country, an apartment in another, and an office in a 3rd, plus I do design on the project on a plane over the Pacific, can I really call my project the product of a certain country?

Lets just say all FansProject toys are Products of LOVE and leave it at that

Who's up for a road trip to Washington? We can stake out this mailing joint, meet FansProject's bag man and get our stuff faster!

Heck, it's already paid for, right?!

Now I am imagining a cross-country road trip with FP guys hand-delivering awesome toys to TFW2005 members all over the place.
Start at FP in (probably) western Canada, head south to San Diego (for COMIC CON next year?!), then back to Canada for TFCon!

I'm gonna go see how many vacation days I have . . .

It's too nice for Fansproject not to do repaints.

The bright blue on Steel is throwing me off. I'm most likely going to get it but I don't see why he wasn't the same shade of blue or grey.

So any word on if the city/shadow commander armor can fit on him?

As far as I have heard in the other board, the Commander armors do not fit on him.

This is my question. There's a lot of design queues that suggest a lot of the parts will.

That's a bummer, that would have been a wonderful twist to this toy.

I'd like to see the rumored/speculated trailer to be an add-on armor for Steelcore.

Doesn't seem like it. The head can't hide to accommodate the chest, and the feet and arms are too big for the armor.

He does have the trailer hitch on the toy so hopefully something is in the works. Not sure if i would want them to make it an armor upgrade. Maybe some kind of mobile command center or if they made the trailer big enough for a scout sized car to fit in with a weapons cache. These ideas I like a little better.
