It'll most likely be available at the usual online retailers like BBTS, TFSource, etc. As for price, I would guess close to $100 USD, figuring this might be a smaller run than City Commander.

This version is actually for Japan and Asia. North American retailers have to get their stock from an asian wholesaler, instead of directly from FansProject, so their charging more than what City Commander and Shadow Commander cost.

hmm yeah, i guess u have a point.. i think the coolest one still is the original city commander.. but the repaints (just the 2) are awesome too, so i think its worth buying.. although in this case, u might wanna buy an additional henkei convoy, especially if u plan on getting the G3 trailer

 

I'm a little jealous of the missile launcher addition since I only have the original Ultra Magnus version of this set, but back at the time I didn't think it was really lacking anything in not having the missiles (zomg geewun), so whatever.

rumors were a wholesale price spike on DIA commander but an added accessory

in reality

we got a new missiles/gun for re-issue City Commander and an accessory PACK for people with city commander v.1 to get the missiles/gun

Nope. The problem was between retailers and suppliers. Remember DIA Commander was only supposed to be available in Asia. So retailers like BBTS, TFSource, Kapow, etc in the U.S:, Canada, and Europe had to buy them by other means.

It seems some suppliers got greedy and instead of being upfront about their surcharge, made up the free accessory excuse to dealers in order to charge more for inventory that was already on order. Some dealers bit the added cost while passing on the info of a freebie (which never existed), while others passed the cost along to buyers who had preordered promising the freebie (again never existing). Another group just contacted FP directly, got the news that no freebies were planned and fessed up their suppliers.

In all a huge mis-understanding brought on by some trying to be greedy.

In my opinion....

In alt mode, Classics or Henkei look fine. In bot mode, Henkei is the way to go. Classics OP has gray biceps and gray/blue thighs so they don't look as good as Henkei's red biceps and silver thighs with the armor on.

But it works out for me anyway because i play w/ my classics prime more often and Henkei can have the expensive armor as a display piece.

 

tfclub has nice comparison pics of Powered and D.I.A. Commander. Powered Commander definitely has more detailed paint apps and more red color.

I don't know about the red being any different. Look at the pic where there is a right left split of the figure. Both reds look the same hue. The only paint apps that DIA doesn't have, are the yellow on the wrists.

I don't like the use of soooo much yellow on the Powered Commander version.

I do like the silver tipped shoulder missles though.
