    Yeah, I wrote the story and most of the instructions. And Diaclone Power Convoy was used in the story on purpose, since he fit better than ultramagnus/City Commander would of.


    Comic spoilers ahead....



    Basically, if you read the back of the City Commander box, it gives you an idea what TF-Parallax is about. Its basically stories set in different universes with character we know, but have a totally different history/personality/whatever. So in this case, Pharoahtron is the Megatron for this story, and Autobots are all slaves, but not a for a simple reason. Anyways, diaclone power convoy fit better in this story idea than City Commander, so we went him instead.

    Awsome city commander

    I just pre-ordered mine from tfsource.com. Does anyone know when they're supposed to fill orders? I thought it was released this month? Forgive me I know this is probably a dumb question.

    Adding that Autobot symbol makes it look heaps better, thanks for taking alot of photos for all of us to see. :)

    Congratulations!! That set is awesome. His gun is almost the size of Galvatron itself! Daaaammmmmnnn. I never realized how small Devy really is...I'm glad I didn't pick him up...I guess I'm gonna wait to get the movie edition. Anyways, awesome Ultra Magnus...now I just have to find someone who has an extra that I can purchase.

    use ur classic prime then... i am sure there wont be much different in bot mode. :p 
    That's what i am going to do, i will buy this but i just have henkei prime. As it's stated they will not produce power convoy... :(

    Actually, the one they showed off was painted for fun. A lot of people have emailed FansProject about seeing it released, and its something they might release if theres enough demand for it.

    I'd pay up to at least $120 for Powered Convoy. I know it would need a smaller production run and I would not hesitate to pay for it.

    He seems to be getting a lot of unbridled praise here. I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I'm still not all too impressed. I really do appreciate the review and the pics though.

    For me, his proportions are odd, almost reminding me of a Pat Lee drawing. The arms look a little silly being staight up top but having to be swung out on the bottom. The legs are quite large on the bottom as well. The head also seems to stand too high, and the face sculpt does little for me.

    I think it's an impressive piece but if it was Hasbro made and mass releases it wouldn't be getting this kind of praise. That's just my thoughts though. Not quite worth the price of admission for me.
