I've been excited for this for a while. Let's hope they show some more pictures soon as it's too early to say whether or not I'll be buying this guy for sure.

 

PM Prime colors?

 

Would like know how big and a price before it's yay or nay but I do like the look of it.

 

I appreciate good toys as much as characters I know. Perhaps unfortunately Transformers is wide enough in scope that there are many toys without characters and many characters without toys, even in Hasbros own offerings. Two things need to be weighed to determine if I'm going to buy this, both equally important to me:

1)Does the finished product look good? Fansproject has yet to disappoint me, and their latest efforts were wonderful, so I'm not too concerned here.

2)Despite it not intentionally being a homage, since there are SO MANY Transformers, can I repurpose this as someone, anyone, from the back catalogue, however vague (I'm not totally adverse to a bit of minor paintwork/re-equipping with new gear, but I'd rather keep that to a minimum). I love seeing nobody characters get attention (Growl and Fireshot, seriously?  ) so I'm fully willing to stretch it to someone with no character. I'd rather not have to invent from scratch, since then he'd just be a generic transforming robot, and I'd struggle to find somewhere suitable for him on my limited shelf space.

So as people guessed, and the comic hinted, heartmaster will be an Ultra Magnus repaint.

But the real news is FP IS READY TO TALK.

 

I know people speculated some kind of CC redesign with all original material. I want to believe this but won't get my hopes but until its confirmed or not.

Edit" looked closer at the picture and your right. I can def see UM colors on this guy. Theres blue and white on the other parts.

 

I was hoping Powered Convoy colors but UM is still good for me. Can't wait for the full reveal.

 

Although UM colors appeal to me greatly, I would only get this if it looks more like Ultra Magnus than City Commander does.

 

It actually wasn't speculation it was an insider tip.

That picture appears to be of a final product. I wonder if FP is not going to reveal anything until it is completely ready to go. I get why they would do that, to protect their interests, but damn that will suck. I really want to see their 2012 line up.

 

I'm well up for this, the prototypes have looked great.

 

I am uncertain about what they have lined up, but I am pretty sure you will be throwing money at them (as will I )  

 

Well, at this point I think they're showing this in part to indicate they aren't quite dead.

And really, there's not much to show in between -they tend to show the final pics next after the prototype pics. It may well be they're adopting a more MakeToys style "have the product available within a month of the final reveal" tactic.

While I'm happy to see they will be putting some new product on the market, the vagueness of this teaser is just annoying..

 

I like it when companys do this. Tease us than very soon release products or atleast put up pre-orders if your a month or two out.

The one thing I hope they dont do again is put up a very limited edition run of the figure randomly and it being sold out before most of us know what happened.

 

It is FP, I am a fan of their anime styles, which is saying a lot because I am not a fan of Anime. And yes they get my money, ALL OF IT lol but maybe not Heartmaster. He is the one figure that I may jump on later in the game but feel no rush to get.

Junkion, Broadside, Menasor?? FP can chalk me up for one garunteed sale on all those items.

Well it was mentioned that with the current attack against them and the rash of KOs made of their items that they will hold off on reveals or hints until they are ready to go. I get it but the wait sucks. I guess that's a good thing having a large group of consumers anticipating your every release. Good on you FP.

Insiders pointed out a while back, and the last comic eludes to it, that Heart Master in an upgraded form of CityCommander, so a suped up Ultra Magnus.

 

Wait, what attack on them? Or do you mean the competition/KOs?

If you're referring to Shadow Scyther, they did give some warning that it was gonna be going up soon, IIRC.

 

Same here. This thing bores me for some reason.

Maybe the final pics and price will sway me.
