They don't actually exist, that's why there's no price (nor engine specs, top speed, etc). They only exist as 3-foot-long scale study models and CGI. Lambo has no intention of ever making them nor did they design them. The guy just got permission to use their name and logo on his work. They are not concept cars---concept cars may be 1 of a kind and never make it into production, but they actually "exist" as full-size cars you can sit in etc.

The Lambo Reventon is rare, but it exists and you can drive it. The Madura and Ankonian are no more real than the Starship Enterprise----there's a very defined look for how it "should" be, and large detailed models exist---but none are full-sized and there is no "real" one out there to go sit in nor will there ever be.

    Huh?

Dude, Optimus vs Megatron is WAY different compared to one combiner vs another. If any combiner has a natural rival, I honestly couldn't tell you who it would be. I associated Superion more with Bruticus, and I associated Computron with Abominus but that's only because they showed up near the end of the cartoon at roughly the same time. Optimus & Megs have been rivals and leaders in just about every single bloody continuity we've seen.

As for me and scale, I stated this earlier but I'm perfectly fine with Menasor being shorter because his limbs are made up of cars, and I'd prefer the cars still be roughly the same scale as the preexisting deluxe cars we've received from Hasbro/Takara. Seeing Voyager scale Stunticon vehicles (cars only, Motormaster as a Voyager certainly works for me) would look silly to me.

Where scale will get weird for me is whenever we get a Defensor combiner, because two of two of the components would be understandably deluxe class or smaller (Groove, Streetwise) and the other two could go either way (First Aid and Blades) along with a Voyager Hot Spot. My feelings are still muddled regarding how I would want that to turn out, for each component and its overall size.

Cool shots, thanks. It's too bad we couldn't see any shots of them in limb modes.

Traditionally, yes, but I was curious to see if there is any actual transformation involved...or if it just stands vertically for limb mode and it's literally that simple.

That was a thought I had as well. But 'soon' is a relative term when you're talking months before they are to see release. And some 3rd party (NOT iGear apparently) have proven adept at seemingly short turn arounds. I'm thinking specifically of TFC and how quickly they were able to get to market with the Hercules bots. Maketoys seemed quick with their run of Giant as well. So again, it's feasible these could be in the pipeline very soon.

Cool stuff but, personally, I'd want the bots as tall as classics Jazz or Sideswipe, not Bumblebee size, and Motormaster as tall as PP01 Faith Leader.

It's been a long time. I saw pictures of these prototypes at Botcon 2011! That being said I'm willing to bet they are already in the test shot stage.

Wouldn't surprise me - weren't they wanting to start getting them released this fall?

Although I have yet to see a preorder I wouldn't think Fall seems likely. No gurantees though.

Man, I'm thrilled. Menasor was my first combiner ever... in fact, the only one I ever completed aside from Computron when I was a kid... this dude holds a lot of nostalgia for me.

Also, those two bots look awesome.

Cheated my ass off pasting photos of the real car over the toy, but I couldn't think of any other way to make a plain black car look "digibashed".
