...I mean, I like the headsculpt?

Maybe it's just awkward posing, but these photos really don't do him any favours.

I really like the original G2 moulds and would love a new Rapido... but not this one, that's for sure. That thing is hideous. He doesn't even have proper feet. Almost nothing about it looks good. And just knowing Sark has been anywhere near this is a big, fat "NOPE" for me.

Yes, definitely keep it. It may be a Prowl retool for the most part, but the mold does him justice despite its shortcomings. It's still an excellent toy

There's a price at which I'll pick these up - it's not a high price, though. They look okay, and it's probably the only shot at getting these characters. Plus I want to support 3rd parties branching into more obscure parts of late-G1/G2. But there's something off and I'm not there yet

And now Ive seen the Bot......that's a nope. Way more awkward than the hoof-footed FP Stunticons and twice as ugly.

If this is an old design dusted off it shows, they should burn it and start over with something that actually fits current collections.

Maas has confirmed that they have acquired this from FP, but are in no way FP themselves.

Yeah, now that we've seen the prototype of the bot mode.... eesh. That is one ugly design. I like that they're going for some obscure characters but come on.

Oh good, they are far too small. Thanks, MAAS, for making these no longer figures I want.

This is a terrible looking figure. The chest is way too wide. The feet are just weird. That this is related to FP just baffles me.

That's a shame. I'm eager for an updated or Masterpiece Rapido, but this ain't it.

I'm surprised by the dislike for this. I'm happy this is actually getting made. I find the bot mode interesting and different. I especially like the shoulders and legs. Definitely getting it.

Why would you be surprised when the proportions are horrendous and he barely even has feet?

I dunno. I get that he looks different. My take on him was that he is "stylized" or even "refreshing" compared to a lot of what I have already, so I'm interested. I'm not trying to say you guys are wrong - I can't even quite explain why Transformers make me so happy rationally, so I'm not going to tell you what to like or not like. I'm just legitimately surprised that my take seems to be in the minority, since I don't feel like I'm usually too far from the mainstream in my tastes.

Fair enough. I'm personally okay with the size and even the general aesthetic but the general proportions and the feet (or lack thereof) really, really bother me.

Its a shame the mold isn't reflective of the nice concept art and the biggest issue with it is the sheer mass of the upper torso, its absurdly huge relative to the rest of the figure. And while the limbs aren't inherently terrible because they are so skinny this creates a very inconsistent ratio in his body proportions making the arms especially look skeletal relative to the torso.

Would have been cool if the designer could have found a way to shrink the torso car parts similar to how maketoys downbeat takes its center mass and underlays that behind the outer car hood panels. Any car hood torso guy really should be approached with this method these days to look his best imo.

If you want another arcbot clone there's the botcon one. There are a slew of g2 bots that are stormtroopers (some of which hasbro marketed them as fricken stormtroopers), if you want them all to look like the same 8 dudes that's fine, but I find it boring. This is an overdue expansion on characters no third party has touched because it's to far away from the first half of g1 mp copy/paste war that most of the community is getting tired of.

He's like a mix of his wings and idw model.
