When is this coming out? I saw kuma had this already
They said it will be available at TFcon Canada, which starts tomorrow. No word yet on if and when it's available after that to the public, but I imagine we should be able to order it.
Is this something you all want to see reviewed? Can get a full one up tomorrow. Tons of pics too.
I'd totally watch it.
Yes very yes
ok. I'll get it up tomorrow. In the mean time here are some desk shot comparisons with Steel's alt.
Severo Core Soleron seems to have a long neck in that last picture.
Same length just angle.
Does the Soleron mold seem to hold together in the middle pretty well? I remember my Ruthen and Osmi were a bit picky about that, but I think my 3 kings from Trianix Alpha didn't have the problem. Or maybe it was the other way around, will have to check.
While you're doing the pics, can you get a few of Severo with the rest of your epic Warbot shelf too? Would love to see him next to the RRRcores and the Trianix figures.
Holds together alright... IIRC the trianix ones hold better because it's an over/under lock vs just pegs.
There'll be a group shot or two for sure.
Also did a number of official shots for fpj so those should be released today as well via their methods.
DaimChoc Reports - ダイムチョック・リポーツ
Dam these pictures show that they really put their time and effort into this remold/recolor.
I really like how the facesculpt turned out.
Steel Core was always a good candidate for a War Within Grimlock homage. He had a lot of the same details.
What is War Within Grimlock was designed first and Steel Core was the repaint? The first original 3P design was all a ruse!
Possible. But I think SC’s design took cues from a few other characters, as well. I believe that’s why the figure lends itself to so many repaint possibilities.
Doubtful there will ever be an “armorer” trailer
Nothing on the mold suggests attachment points for stuff
It has the same attachment points as the original figure.
The chainsaw on the front bumper seems very Mad Max, so maybe have the rest of the Dynobots tab in like B2Five’s Acid Rain mech vehicles for a long, rollicking Fury Roadster Caravan. That might be a more interesting use of SeveroCore’s hip socket in the back of his waist.
And, the other members of the Lightning Strike Coalition could be weapons platforms for their Solerons to pivot about on, like an armored train.
Still, that has me wondering when we’ll ever see an Insectitrain... ^.^
