I'm feeling a bit better, it looks better in color. Still probably my least favorite so far of the original five.

 

It looks just like the initial 3D render (paint details withstanding).... and I'm still not into it. His design just looks far removed from his pals and nothing like the initial shadow tease. I wound up buying the Planet-X Snarl and while I'm not 100% satisfied with that toy from a quality standpoint it's better than this.

 

Yeah, he just doesn't look up to par compared to the rest. It's like they sort of just gave up and said it was good enough. I mean, what's up with those tiny plates on his back??? For a 3P figure, I would have expected them to be huge and over exaggerated. Both modes just look good enough, which, up till now, I wouldn't have expected from FP.

 

I mean, if it was up to me, his spikes would be huge, and the ones on his feet would come off and become melee weapons-- short swords, or hatchets. But what do I know?

 

Yeah... The plates are easily my least favorite. Seems they shrunk 'em down so they wouldn't be too huge in his robot mode. But even then... Giant shin spikes? I could dig that.
I will say, I'm a bit more enthused about him now that I see him in color. But he's still the weakest of the bunch...

 

I,m liking it much better now looks near ready for consumers cant wait to finish this line.

 

I think he looks great! I look forward to completing the Lost Realm figures. Though I do hope they do Paddles, Slapper, and Scorn...

The bot mode looks good but I'm not feeling the dinobot mode. It's the spikes (too small) and the head (it's too long-ish) for me.

 

I like it. I think he fits the aesthetic of the rest of the line pretty well. The melee master looks good, and I like him being all red so he stands out more. I really wouldn't mind if this designed just keeps making more Dinobots, either - hell, give us a two-headed Strafe, Paddles, Scorn, etc

It took me some time but I am really liking this one a lot. I do like the headsculpt and I like how the tail works on his back and it has a lot of different options for poses and playability. The color of this one looks loads better than the black one they were showing for some time and I feel it fits with the other dinos quite well. Not sure how anyone can say otherwise.

The soleron for this one looks the best. Love the shoulder wings and he has the big ass sword and shield with him. I feel the designer has made some pretty big improvements in his look of the figures over the course of this line.

I will be looking forward to having this one in Diaclone colors.

 

Ouch. This looks...extremely phoned in. It's like they realized they still had one more Dinobot to do and just shoved it out the door with the first horrible design that gets turned in. Beating a dead horse here but I'll get this to complete the set and then I'm writing Fansproject off completely unless they really wow me with something fantastic.

 

Count me in for Scorn, Slapper, and maybe even Paddles.

 

Agreed. It appears to me that more thought was put into Snarl's melee-master than Snarl himself.

Robot mode looks kinda cool, nicely stylized. Dino mode looks shit; like a bad knock-off.

 

The Soleron looks pretty cool. And seeing Pinchar posed next to Cubrar he doesn't look as puny. I hope he's cheaper somewhat, but I really don't expect it.

 

'Bot mode looks fine, and I actually like how comically chubby the dino mode is.

Ugh, this makes me wish we could get G2 redecos even more. These are still my favorite Classics-type Dinobots. Diaclone will be covered at some point but I wish I didn't have to mentally cross G2 colors off as unlikely.
