After seeing the new pics of the Bruticus upgrade kit from Fansprojects, there is no doubt in my mind that an all original combiner from these guys is going to be absolutely stunning.

If you're not sure to what I'm referring, we got the first hint at this guy here: TFCon 2009 Update - New Products from Fansproject announced! Springer, Broadside, and a Combiner! - Transformers News

    Now, here's the questions.

    - Will he be Heroic or Evil?
    - How many bots will this guy be made up of?
    - what other alt modes will we see?
    - How much will this guy run? And how will they be sold? (Ie; individually or as a set?)
    - What will the combined characters name be? and what will the individual figures names be?

As far as alt modes, all I can think of is the Ice Age movies. A mastadon, a sabretooth and whatever the hell John Leguizamo was... :lol

    Mammoth, Woolly Rhino, Giant Deer.

Saber-tooth cat, Glyptodont, and Megatherium if you want to include american fauna.

Maybe the left foot is some kind of giant ground sloth. There's no way of telling, but it would be a cool beast mode.

Keep in mind, Glacialbot is intended to be a scramble city/G1 style combiner. So don't get your hopes up if its not as awesome as the Bruticus kit.

It'd be cool if they could work in an Orca or a giant penguin LOL

Looks to be your standard 5 bot gestalt.

Whooly Rhino, Giant deer and Giant Sloths all sound pretty cool. Such an odd period of evolution to make a Transformers team out of.

Kinda off topic-I always thought the Autobots needed a boat team to fight the Seacons (a speed boat, race boat, aircraft carrier, hovercraft and tugboat :) )

    My speculation:

    - Allegiance - Probably "heroic", given that the main colours of the only individual shown are red and grey.
    - Number of figures - Looks like five, from the images.
    - Sabertooth tiger looks like a definite for the one arm and I'd agree with wooly rhinoceros for the other arm. Too hard to tell on the legs, though.
    - I'd imagine that they would be sold as a set. As for how much, that's hard to say. Let's say the "torso" is roughly the size of Defender and also includes some diecast, so assume the torso figure will be the same cost as Defender ($80). Include the gestalt head, gun and chest armor with the torso figure and the price for that one maybe goes up a little. For the limbs, I'd assume the figures themselves would be the same size as Munitioneer and Explorer. But Munitioneer and Explorer each come with a lot of extra kibble that's needed to modify the pre-existing toys. I'd speculate each Glacialbot limb wouldn't need to come with as many extra bits, just the hand and/or foot piece, which should reduce the cost relative to the Crossfire limbs. Given that, I'd assume $40 per limb, so ~$240 total for the complete set [(4 x $40) + $80].

Bear in mind we already have an image of the combined Glacialbots. There's time for stuff to change, but three of the four limbs are already clear.

Left arm: Saber-toothed cat, probably Smilodon
    Right arm: Woolly rhinoceros
    Left leg: Uh... featureless brick!
Right leg: Glyptodon or similar glyptodont

My guess is heroic at first, followed by a Monstructor repaint.

Don't thank me, thank your original post linking to it. :p

Odds are the very crafty left leg is going to be a cave bear or ground sloth.

Judging by his legs, they should probably have picked animals of a similar size.

They should do a Dino combiner as Glacialbot's rival. :)

New FP Project? The Official Glacialbots/Glacialord thread

I saw some FP shipping boxes at a toy store, and it says Retro-future Glacialord, with names like Fangro, Razorspike, and Tailclub, etc.

As suggested by other members, this seems to be the Glacial bots that they teased about a few years back.

You saw a new box of unknown FP stuff and you didn't knock the dude out to open the box and take pics?

    Where did you see this?

Really? I think they got their hands full as it is. We were supposed to get Quadruple U, or at least some god damn coloured pics, but nope.
