Completely disagree. That is exactly why I like them so much, they have that G1 "funk" and not the "Super Robot" proportion. Much more exciting to me.

Super Robot/Brave style is great, I love it, but not for Transformers. It's a different aesthetic. I'm personally glad to see this and hope we see more.

My one and only disappointment is that Brainstorm doesn't have his faceplate. I'll always prefer the toy head to the Headmasters cartoon head. Other than that these two are looking awesome.

Yeah, I think FP could create a cool upgrade set of alt cartoon/toy accurate headmasters for each figure. I'd buy it!

"FP JIZ" maybe be an unfortunate choice of abbreviations.

    just insert an A

Yeah, I don't understand showing Minerva over these two. They just have to release the original team before attacking any headmaster junior figures.

I would like to see them release their own version of Hardhead, because I don't feel that "Hardbone" does him justice. Too much kibble, and I do not like the style of their Headmasters. Sure they have ball jointed shoulders, but it lacks the finesse shown in Stylor.

Hey, it's Choryujin on the right! LoL

I'm a person that LOVES the super robot styling on TFs because I'm more of a Super Robot fan in general, but this post and drawing are perfect. It's easy to become accustomed to this styling on TFs since it's become common with Fansproject in particular, but he's right: It's really not "Transformers" accurate at all.

Haha, by the way, I'm all in on the SRC Gaogaigar figures. Can't believe how awesome that little Volfogg figure is with the 1st piece of the Big Order Room.

I wouldn't mind a line of cartoon accurate SRC Transformers figures!

I love the super robot styling myself, as well, but I do really like the style that F(x) is going for, too.

It stands out, revives a gimmick, and has some pretty awesome aesthetic choices regarding completely annihilating the kibble-created silhouette on the toys. In a way it's kinda a "what if someone designed toys around the Floro Dery style of barely any kibble in altmode".

Is there any price yet for WeirdWolf?

Also, I've been seeing "ankle tilt" here and "ankle tilt" there, is that some kind of new joke or a reference to older series?

Absolutely. I own the complete cast so far, even the web-exclusive GRJ! You sir, have great tastes! LMAO.

And yes - a possible bandai-tamashii partnership was a big reason I'd actually hoped Hasbro WAS being bought by Disney! I'm mean, the revoltechs were "Ehhh.... ai'ight", but some SRCs of these characters would be incredible.

Sorry to get off topic a bit, folks - But this man is speaking my language.

As for the FP(x) line... I didn't have feelings one way or another until I got Code in hand, and now I'm head-over-heels for these guys. So unique on multiple levels!

Yes! Exactly, would love to see more Dery influence on 3rd party TF toys.

I am already working on a faceplate add-on part for not-Brainstorm.
That and something he is never without these days... ;)

NOTE: I will have to wait till he is out for the final fitting. It will be
a few weeks after I get one before the kit will be ready to replicate.

In a nutshell: some people here really hated Code because of the lack of ankle tilts in a 2012 toy. Other people started mocking them up stating that ankle tilts are not that important.

Unfortunately you can see the tentacles of this monster in pretty much every thread on there forums.
It all started in the FP Fx Code thread though. Shouldn't be too hard to find with a search for "ankle tilts" + "shoulder articulation"
