I cant wait for this set, I need to actually open my Universe Bruticus and play with it so I can learn how to transform it :lol . I bought it about 2 months ago and threw it in the back of the closet waiting for this set to come out.

This is such a killer upgrade set.

Fansproject has truly outdone themselves. They've set a new benchmark. So much better than City Commander and Superion upgrade.

oww... I really like the Combaticons... but here in Chile we never had that ROTF Bruticus pack (just Superion... and he's still shelfwarming in some stores) u.u and to order the Bruticus + this 2 sets of munitioner and explorer it's just way too much for me (just an student) ._. unreachable... but still looks way too cool

I am having serious regrets getting rid of my RM version of Starscream now.

looking forward to having this, it's been a long slog of a delay

They didn't produce accurate heads because FansProjects designs their kits/toys to be idiot-proof. Just pop the toys out of the box and they're ready to go.

To replace the heads on Brawl, Swindle, and Onslaught, you need a soldering iron, as all three of their heads are riveted in place. Definitely something that you don't want to fool around with.

"Sub-SEE-quent?" I believe the word he was looking for was "subsequent." Read that script! Other than that ridiculousness, that was one bang-up review...

Sheesh, no need to jump all over me. I'm more accustomed to simple fixes that involve screws. I'm not as familiar with the molds, hence my earlier comment.

EDIT: Also, there is no such thing as "idiot-proof." There will always be questions and concerns regarding something. I remember when the first few prototype images for this set were released. A few people actually asked if those prototype colors were the final colors. So no matter how well you present something, there will always be "idiot" questions and problems.

I don't think he meant for you to take it personally. The simple fact is Fansproject design their products to be ready to go out of the box, which is in stark contrast to many garage companies that typically require their customers to paint and assemble their kits.

I suspect plenty of people would complain if they had to solder on the replacements heads themselves. Can't please everyone. =T

He simply had to tell me rivets keep the heads in place. End of story. That's all I needed to know. The rest was unnecessary IMO.

And yes, anything that requires soldering is not a simple fix.

EDIT: I don't mind a bit of assembly myself. Now I do draw the line at painting. I have no painting skills at all.
