Just because you smear dirt on something doesn't make it 'weathered'. You have to apply it in the right areas where it'd get dirty to look correct. Hands and the chest of a giant robot shouldn't have as much dirt as the feet walking around in the muck, for example. The joints on the crane lok strange too, and since it's orange weathering dust on a yellow robot, it looks like it's blushing instead of dirt.

If you're right (and I'm not debating that, just the merits of FP ignoring their own club), I don't understand why FP would even bother.  The way it was so difficult to join also confused me. :sly:  They said it had something to do with being able to handle X amount of users, but... what? What did that mean? I always wondered if the guy meant "users" in terms of computing space and program capacity OR in terms of managing a club from a directorial/executive perspective.

You can see in that pic of Clean-structoCore that he already has the new forearm pieces, different from the ones present on the original SteelCore and SeveroCore. Just missing the boom crane arm attachments.

I think you are right, it probably can be unplugged, which will be nice for the spare chest-guys I've got.

So far there are only four exclusives at TFCon Chicago. Kinda lame. Don't get me wrong, I like what has been offered, except for MMC's offering. Not even a Transformer.

I might give in and order it if FP site gets a couple. The paint job is just not looking great to me.

So just a couple of things:

    - They're being really strict about one per person and even punching holes in VIP passes to mark that you've gotten one. I see these selling the eff out tonight.
    - The weathering is still off from the rest of the line obviously but not nearly as bad in person. There was definitely some contrast play in those pictures because the colors are a lot more calm/muted in hand and the weathering looks a ton more natural as a result.
    - These DO come with a Soleron and it's actually a blind bag with a random Soleron color! They look like the Dai-Z mold but all brand new colors. I've seen a dark blue and a gold'ish one so far.

@Kuma Style everything about that is awesome except the part where it sounds super duper exclusive.

Still hoping for some version to be available through FPstore / A3U. Any word from them on that yet?

They really don't say until during or after the con so I don't know as of now but of course once I do I'll post up if they haven't yet.

    - Another interesting note I forgot is that on the side of each of these opposite the picture is a number: I was told it's not a production run number or anything but just individual numbers for them. Really darned cool stuff.

^^A better photo, but now looks like a toasted marshmallow... and the bullet hole sticker trend is SOOO 1996. Hopefully they sell unsoiled versions of this.

I'd prefer a clean version but TBH this is a good holdover until then. There's always something to complain about and after PerfectEffect Mega Doragon I'm just happy to pose a TF and not have it topple over.

Their Severo Core "con exclusive" made its way to online stores; i can't really remember any of their con exclusives not making it online in some form.

Hell, other than their Shadow Scyther debacle, have any of their exclusives been hard to get?

Wait, blind bagged Solerons that are con exclusive? Well guess my currently complete Soleron collection will forever remain incomplete now, assuming I can even get this figure in the first place.
