    Anyone have any idea?

My Shadow/DIA/City commander have trouble holding the BFG. What happens is that the arm strength is not enough, and if I let him hold the BFG even downwards without touching the floor, the arm armor slides down a little due to the weight of the BFG (or just become slightly looser)

Just wondering if anyone have found a way to tighten the classics arm so it can actually hold the BFG as if its aiming at something straight forward.

I'd like to know this myself. I don't have the issue with the armor sliding off, but the actual joint can get very loose. I was thinking perhaps unscrewing the arm and applying future finish...but I'd like to see what other ideas there are.

there was a thread about it before, it had something to do with opening the arm and adding a piece of paper into the gears, i think future would work as well, i don't usually keep all three with their guns, just powered commander, since the other two have their own weapons as well

You could maybe sub in a thicker or stronger spring into the ratchet joint.

I, personally, don't bother though. Just never fancied the rocket launcher... thing.

well, its not the elbow joint that's the issue (although it might be once I fix the weaker of the joints), its the shoulder piece.

I don't know why I always think the shoulder ratchets. I had to pick up my Classics Prime to see.

You could try to thicken up the swivels with Future or modeling cement, but ultimately gravity is going to win out. Friction can only ever hold for so long (think earthquakes). Plus you always risk damaging parts when you thicken others that connect to it.

There's actually a small tab extending from the side of the Commander's pelvis armor. I usually prop the side of the gun against this to get him to hold up the BFG.

I actually did this too when I first noticed it. And it helps when positioning him in such a way that you can't actually see the tab.

But as far as it goes. I really don't think anything else is gonna help with him holding the BFG. It really is a pretty heavy piece.
