Technically this review is for the Fansproject Colossus figure, but I have taken it a step further and now bring you Battle Gaia! I highly recommend the Colossus set as a whole, but I commend those who take the time to do what I have done. Fansproject, well done.

Actually, Warcry and Flameblast aren't based on the Battle Gaia versions of Swindle and Blast Off. They're based on Micromasters Growl and Fireshot. The idea was for them to be versions that people would get for the individual toys, instead of the combined mode.

Very thorough review, and it's always nice to revisit the Colossus. Great custom work too.

I love this set, it is at a height that nobody / no other upgrade sets can possibly surpass.

You are most welcome. I am glad to share with everyone so that we can all enjoy it.

You aren't wrong. I mentioned that in my review of the individual figures. Warcry even represents both forms of Growl (Bot/Con) according to his bio. I wanted them for the combined mode though.

Please tell your wallet I am sorry. With the most appropriate tank/copter limbs being unreleased I can understand why they don't repaint the combiner stuff. However, like I said in the review they could do a Ruination set up pretty easily, especially if people like their Brutici to be G1 accurate instead of reality accurate.

With this much stuff you have to be thorough. Thanks for the compliments.

There are the two quibbles about the backpack-falling-off-issues and the odd miss with the chest plate idea, but otherwise I am with you on the subject.

Wow! I finally figured out the multi-quote tool!

My first hily grail was SL Galvatron General and I got him at CONS 2011. My Battle Gaia was the second grail I had. My new one is the TFCC Astrotrain. I will get him eventually.

Thanks dude! You were actually the inspiration forthe project. That amd the upcoming FoC Bruticus. I was either going to get BG or Ruination but I have to say BG is far more striking here.
