Does anyone have any knowledge about this figure ever getting restocked on sites such as bbts or tfsource? I plan on buying one eventually and I didnt want to pay an outrageous amount of money on him from ebay. Or does anyone know a good place to find one at a decent price?

I'm with you on this - I completely missed the boat and kicking myself - wishing they would make yet another batch of them. Obviously the demand is still there.....

 

For the record there were already two runs of city commander. The original and the remold with the shoulder missiles and gun and slight improvements to the mold (plus a run of just missiles/guns for the 1st ver). They'll only do a third run if there is a huge demand for it but currently that does not seem to be the case.

 

There is a KO available. I have no idea of the quality, but search the toy section for info. I have a KO DIA Commander on the way as we speak, fingers crossed for good quality!

 

Count me in, I'm one of those that missed out on it as well and do want one badly. G1 Ultra Magnus is not my cup of tea which is why he stays in truck mode.

 

Plus with all their new projects coming out this year I doubt they got the time to try and fit another CC run in.

 

quality = terrible. However, shadow and DIA commander are fine.

 

I think they did an additional run last summer. BBTS got oodles of them around August. They went fairly quickly.

 

I have also recently jumped on the bandwagon for fansproject items. I would love to get a City Commander. I currently have the Protector Armor and a Warbot Defender and I have a D.I.A. Armor set comming..

 

If I might add..... When you know these are going to be coming, best advice I can give is if you know you want it, save up for it ahead of time. BBTS is great for being able to do that. I've been plunking money away for all of the new fansproject stuff and TFC Toys stuff for quite a few months now so as soon as preorders for these go up, I'll have most if not all of the money set aside for these.

I was late to the party, but I somehow lucked out on of the last ones off some HK site back in December for around $120 shipped.  

 

Consider me very late... I just ordered the protector set and the more and more I look at the city commander, the more I need it. I'm just kicking myself now for not realizing the awesomness of these figures sooner
