They gave all of them faceplates to either make them look more like ninjas or to avoid copyright crap. Probably the former. Personally I think it looks fine.

Yeah, Shrapnel didn't have a mouthplate.

    But this is Ninja Shrapnel.

Not just fine, but fantastic. I seriously cannot WAIT for the other two.

I gotta admit that I was a bit miffed at no wrist articulation, but it's really grown on me because it's actually way MORE realistic with the whole forearm rotating. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I absolutely love it.

This figure is so top notch that it's insane.

I actually like the fact that they don't look like the G1 Insecticons. I love this whole gratuitous ninja theme going on with them!

Same here. I'm excited for Kickback the most but I like that chain accessory Stormbomb has too.

Like everyone has said, that's because Shrapnel didn't have a face plat, but this isn't made by HasTak, so they have to change things to skirt copyright issues... They did that w/ a Ninja theme, which I think was an awesome choice!

Here here fellas. And, I can't lie, I just ordered another one for the fuck of it. This thing's really won me over .

And oh yea, oddly, of the three, this was actually the one I liked best, so I'm glad it was released first, lol. o, so happy. But, the other two will be nice as well for sure.

How does the plastic feel in comparison to standard Has/Tak stuff? I'm asking because I'm considering repainting these figures, but don't want to run into the issue with plastic that won't take paint well.

These is the hardest plastic they've used to date, however the accessory areas, and thighs are all a softer grey plastic. So, I'd proceed with caution.

Yeah, it seems to be a different kind of plastic from what they've used on their other releases. It looks smoother and glossier to me, although I can't comment on strength.

I'm starting to feel that this is not Geewun enough in bot mode. The other two seem closer.

received my Thundershred and I am very happy with him indeed. That lightning symbol area on his chest is dying to have a reprolabels 'Con rub symbol put on there....

Just got it today AND MAN ITS AWESOME!

The weird thunderbolt doesn't even bug me.

EDIT: Yikes.... so that Transformation was a pain in the ass. I don't know why Fansproject deems it necessary to make overly excessive Transformations. They should of made this more Swindle/Blast-Off than Springer (Forgive me, I forget their not names).

Its such an awesome figure.... but I'll probably never Transform it again

Yeah...one of the criticisms I have with Warbot Defender is that his transformation feels too chunky and it feels like you're going to break the toy transforming some parts of it. Seems this figure is almost the same way from the way most people are describing it.

Well, its not a bad figure by any means, but I'll just come out and say it, their figure designs just put too much stress on the plastic. :2c:

I kinda like the look of the elemental symbol and the deception insignia together. I'll have to think about that.

Yeah, me too! I was going to cover it up originally, but they look great together.

Also, it didn't take long, but his transformation is a breeze now:thumbs2:

EDIT: His claws are still a pain to pull out, so I used pliers and they popped off pretty easy. I didn't want to wiggle them out, since that might damage the holder (?)

Anyone else have problems fitting the arms in the legs? It's frustrating. But everything else is so damn amazing. Great figure.

Only problem I have had so far is with keeping the back legs hitched straight in alt mode. I wish he had a wrist swivel and the cockpit plugged in the back. Otherwise this guy is awesome.

Got mine today, not too impressed. Excellent quality, but the transformation isn't all that fun... Not super stoked about the partsforming either. Good for display though.
