I hope fanshobby takes a stab at star saber and simba themselves. I love what they are doing with overlord and pm optimus.

Alas, you were wrong still. I am trying to accept his size but it's quite a few cm's above what I'd prefer (but it seems I'm in the minority in our MP/accuracy fixated fandom).

It's bigger than Carnifex so I just want one. No other reason needed for me.

Even the small head isn't bothering me much as it did a few days ago. It actually looks quite proportional in a super robot kinda way. The tank tread leg kibble has to change though. I hope it can compress or fold into his calves somehow.

Alas, ehh I was! Oh well
The size is still closer to what they originally told me overlord would be so it seems they only really changed the height of mb-06 which they said on FB would be 14-15" but they could of meant it would be that size with the MB-11 god armor

I've told them the same. I do find it funny you said "and simba" though.

That base mode... slightly disappointed. More like combat mobile base mode than static base. Though nothing has beat the G1 base mode to date...
    :He is deliciously huge though.

    God. Damn. It.

I had no interest in this with the first design.
However, it looks great in 2/3 of the modes now.

Maybe the price and (under-) size will talk me out of it...

Would be a dream come true for me.
Sadly his basemode is as much of an aftertought as with Carnifex.
The only ones who have put some effort into the basemode are Hasbro thusfar.

I think hasbros base modes are still pretty mediocre, trypticon and formax were kinda ok but metro was a joke.

So far the only really nice one has been utopias, mt put a lot of work in to him transforming very nicely. Shame overlord still hasn't received such treatment, this figure would be over the moon bad ass if it had its proper ramps and side towers formed out of the tank parts. Seems weird that it can't do that when they have so much mass to work with. Wonder if the seemingly working tread assemblies prevented that. Would honestly take a nice base mode over working treads.

    Completely agree.
I'd rather have an interesting basemode than working treads too.
I thought Hasbro Metroplex's basemode looked ok though, but i never owned him.
I'd rather find Utopia for a good price and then buy Hasbro Trypticon.
But that's just theory, i'm still good with my G1 versions.

Yeah, I suspect they're referring to the Armored-up version.

    I know how you feel.
I sold my Hasbro Devastator and Metroplex for size constraints reasons.
I think 15" is my maximum figure size, whether they're combiners or not. That's a big part of the reason why I'm excited about these guys.
