Excited to see this blossom into an original design, and a good looking one at that! Need a little work on the forearms, at least from this angle.

While it lost a bit of it's cool chubbiness, I'm loving this just as much. I ám wondering what is up with those hip connectors/joints though - which I think only enable front and back leg movement - that seems rather...anachronistic.

It may be due to the relatively recent revisioning of the tank alt mode that there is a lack of joints shown for sideways movement of the hips. It doesn't seem like there is an engineering reason to restrict the hip joints only to forward and backward movement.

I have no doubt that there's outward leg movement.

I thought I'd be thrilled with this and theres been a significant amount of improvements and much bigger scale...
but the robot mode looks terrible... really terrible... that cancelled Nova Lord (3rd party Overlord w/ the gi Joe jet) had better proportions than this...

Dang, I actually don't like this one anymore. Those legs look way too big for the rest of him, not just overly long but overly wide as well. And that Jet on his arm looks disproportionately large as well. I love Fans Hobby but I'm afraid I'm done with this one if it stays looking like this. :(

Yeah if they can clean up the turret kibble a bit this will be an easy 10/10. Like, I'm still in if they opened preorders TODAY but this can still be improved.

Dude, the size is perfect. 380-400mm is about 15-15.5 inches.
Just right for squaring off against MP Star Saber & Simba.

It's a bummer when a company makes changes to a figure to such extend that you lose interest in the figure - mmc for me - so I hear ya. Hope KFC will tackle this guy for you!

That said, for me; I cannot express enough how totally floored I am by this. I literally cannot stop looking at it.

Bleh, no thanks to KFC doing one. :lol  I kid, I'd be curious to see what they could do. I'd be more interested in DX9, UT or FansToys doing one.

So far my favorite Overlord is Iron Factory's, then Hasbro's. I wanted to like MMCs but the final product looked too greebly and overdetailed for my tastes and didn't look enjoyable to transform.

I may change my tune on this one once I see it in color and more finalized. At the moment it just looks like they increased the height by making the legs bigger/longer and for me the result makes him look too disproportionate. Colors may cover up that effect, and I'm hoping they do because I DO want to get this. Fans Hobby toys are so great in hand.

I think it wouldn't hurt if they'd make the legs a bit shorter (personally, I wish he was a few cm shorter). Why don't you tell them? They seriously listen and process your feedback.

    This.
Sizes up nicely with their upcoming Ginrai too.

Would like a snap of their base mode after the redesign. Better not of thinking of dropping it ^^.

Paint, diecast and ratcheting are still yet to be known of both Ginrai and Overlord. So far looking good overall.
