Fanstoys Scourge

 

oh dear.

 

I'm still getting XTB's since this will take forever to get released, but if I like this enough I can be persuaded to buy it as well.

 

Finally a break lol. As much as i like FT figures i don't care about any of these 3 characters.

 

The nice part of scourge is he typically come in 3, and different figures can make each one more unique, while looking similar. So which will be Scourge and which will be your sweeps?

 

This is so true, whatever one looks best in bot mode the other in space soap mode

 

Exactly. The TT official one will eventually be which makes 3.

 

After seeing all the video reviews of the XTB version, I don't think I'm going to wait. Curious to see how this will look though.

 

I'm thinking I'm going X-Transbots for sure on Scourge, Cyclonus, and Galvatron.

 

Great, silhouette again. Will be back in 2 - 4 months to see if something new happen.

 

Another easy pass as I have little intrest in the character.

I would sooner have seen FT show some more progress on Skyfire or another carbot such as Trailbreaker.

 

I can't wait to see what fans toys does with target masters..perhaps were on the verge of a headmaster reveal from them too

 

There's always room for more Scourge and Sweeps. Andras is totally like Scourge in his prime; black moustache, heroic and buff proportions. Scourge the Younger, if you will. I'd really like to see if FT will try for something closer to the hunchbacked old dude of the old Transformers Universe artwork.

 

Just when I was seriously considering Andras - now, I will wait and see, I think.  

 

I'm a supporter of FansToys but 539 at XTB has already hit a home run. Fanstoys is releasing this to try and keep a few people from buying Andras. They did the same thing with Skyfire (Kronos). Kronos had a decent number of flaws, but guess what, he is still the only MP style Skyfire out there.
It will be at LEAST a year before this even gets to the prototype stage.
Have fun waiting. I'll enjoy Andras and check on this one in 6-8 months.

Perhaps. Having a better look at their Galvatron, I'm not quite sure FansToys has them in it to best XTransbots, at least in terms of movie characters.

FT's forte seems to be that awesome-clunky brick Diaclone style - and they do it really well. I think Andras might be more likely now... still not sure, though.

 

Wonder if this will be a part of their perfect fusion line like their cyclonus is, or if he will be under the fanstoys brand.
