I'd throw some future finish on the pin to keep it in. Hopefully you could kind of knife off the flashing but I could see how chrome could make that complicated. But the future should work.  

 

Thanks for the info. This should be reported somewhere. Seems like big news that “FT“ is dropping Cyclonus and only PF is producing it.

I see zero reason they'd ever need to make another mold. But I think it would have been super cool if FT had decided to release this guy under the usual FT label without any of his IDW parts but with additional G1 faces and some other nods to g1 cyclonus in his movie colors.

And then done the PF version in IDW colors with the IDW parts instead of G1 parts.

 

I thought dalianJJ said that Caesium would be the only release under the Perfect Fusion brand. Is the sooky-la-la breaking away from Fans Toys perhaps?

I hope not. Cyclonus isn't supposed to look like a curvy barrel-chested bodybuilder. Transformers should have some degree of blockiness, and Cyclonus is somewhat slimmer and taller compared to Scourge and Galvatron. If you want the bulky bubbly/rounded look, go for the XTB Eligos.

 

as you can see he's a large robust bot. His legs and chest are rounded to a degree theyre not all straight edged and blocky.

 

The "watercolor" type image is accurate, somewhat slender, and somewhat blocky.

The "tech spec" image is squat, almost SD (super deformed). Don't use that. He looks like a midget-former ready to do battle with Bumblebee. That's a terrible image. The movie "grid" image is the "tech spec" image (lazy animators).

If you REALLY want blockiness, go petition on Fans Hobby's facebook page for a Cyclonus. I'm sure they would be interested in making one eventually.

 

Not until they make their G2 Megatron though, as he's my top priority from them after their Overlord.

 

I don't buy XTB any more, so this a great option.

If I got him, I'd chuck out the IDW accessories. They are useless to me (but that sword could be useful for making Tailgate into a shish kabab)

 

Wish ft would show something soon or i might end up with a big purple spaceship named eligos under my tree.

 

FH has already teased G2 Megs.

 

I know, that's why he's my top priority after their Overlord.

Sadly no prototype pics yet, but with how awesome everything else they've made has been, I'm confident that G2 Megs will rock as well.
