It's better for them to focus on the aerialbots to snatch away the attention from Zeta than risking to go against an official release. The irony is that if a Takara Trailbreaker follows the standard set by Megatron, Sunstreaker and (we hope) Dinobot, we can end with the FT version being the cheaper and lesser one.

 

Bummer. I was hoping FT's Outrider would lead to an FT Hoist.

 

Think this is dead in the waters by them missing the boat on with all the TB and Hoists out there already, just like XTB with their Springer and Galvatron.

Only recently ordered Tremor and Furor from rub, so will be a little while  

 

I know it sucks to wait but none of these are dead. These companies are growing (massive progress last year) and plans often go to sh1t (premature announcements create a 3yr backlog). FT put a priority on their movie cast and fast tracked Rouge. We know after that Berserk, Hydra, and Mindwipe come out. They still have in reserve Hoodlum, Outrider, Hoist, and Skullcruncher before the Aerialbots that are coming later this year. Just like XTB you cannot be first on every character and sometimes you miss your window so you have to shift around priorities and get back to things later. PF-02 Quietus and I expect PF-03 Scourge are good examples.

 

He did say they are planning Hoist.

I have faith in FT that Outrider will be eventually released. Just don't ask me when.  

Plus as it stands with the speculation that TT is slowing down with G1 or possibly producing other lines only favors FT and other 3ps making G1 figures.

 

Those of you with the patience to keep the faith have my admiration, but I really don't care about TB enough to wait another couple of years. I've got the MMC one and contrary to the hype it's more than good enough for my display.

Sorry FT, but snooze (or not) and you lose.

 

I decided I don't want to wait anymore for this release. I love FT products, but MMC and XTB offer excellent versions of MP TB and Hoist. I don't see enough difference to justify the wait for FT's release. And if FT's release turns out to be a better version somehow after all, I can always get it then. For now I have an MP Trailbreaker I can be happy with.

Same thing happened with XTB's MP Kup. I like their design a lot, and prefer their design over FT's. But XTB is insanely late to the MP Kup party, so I'm going with FT Koot (preorder). Just want that to be know as I don't want to be criticized as some FT hater.  

 

It's a journey, not a race. What's the rush?  

If i'm 50 and there are still figures coming in, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

 

I may actually be 50 by the time FT Trailbreaker comes out. I don't mind the wait.

 

I certainly hope Outrider comes out sooner than later. With as much time as FT is taking with it they might as well release their MP Hoist at the same time.

 

Agreed. I try and get drunk enough to purchase XTB Aegis and I still can't overlook the stupid issues that figure has even though it looks the part.

 

I picked up Aegis and Paean some months back as to me they are the best MP representations of TB & Hoist currently on the market. But best believe I will double dip for the FT versions.
