Hey don't worry about it man, I wasn't upset. Things can easily be taken the wrong way on the internet, because plain text strips language of its tone and context. I try to always bear that in mind!

Anyway, I have a pretty thick skin, when I was growing up my own parents used to troll me - good preparation for life on the internet  

 

After multiple transformations I like Rouge even more, Apache is still a pain an I think my problem is I forget how to transform the legs where as Rouge I can do it in my sleep an her joints are still as tight as when I first got her.
I still have one Rouge that Im thinking on selling or trading or something ....
My wife asked if I was done collecting, I told her I just started an she gave me the look, we all know the look..... But I want more.....

 

Gonna brag about my wife then. All she cares about is that the displays look nice and she gave me the go ahead to buy some expensive display shelving. All she cares about is that the furniture matches. Pretty soon I'l be able to display everything: MP, Prime/aligned, Animated and Chug. Rouge included, of course!

 

Why not give your wife the go ahead to collect something pointless that you hate. so this way she'll have no right to give you "The Look"

Go ahead, brag lol.... I think its because of the 100 R/C cars that I have in the attic she's complaining but I told her that I was selling most of them because I got bored. I will keep the rare ones an my favorites.

 

She does, her Cricut stuff an her biology stuff, she's a teacher so she has skulls, shells, blow up internal organs an such, the basement is full with this stuff but I don't give her the look so I expect the same but she doesn't see it like that.

Funny enough she doesn't buy many clothes so I couldn't use that argument if I wanted to, her sister on the other hand oh boy, shoe shopaholic

Back to the topic on hand, this Arcee was done fairly well, beside some curious engineering choices, but it appears to be the best one so far. I wonder if Fans Toys will consider doing a Combiner Hunter Arcee with her matching accessory of a giant sword?

im thinking of getting the right hand with the tab and precautionary replacement shoulders in case they snap off because they are starting to show a little bit of stress

Thanks, just asked them to replace the misassembled left hand and for extra shoulder parts just incase they break because i noticed minor stressmarks

 

It's also a nonsense argument. You can wear a dress or underwear. You can't tie an MP-10 around your waist to obscure your crotch and reasonably expect to get anywhere in public. On the whole, clothes have more utility. Hell, in a pinch you can burn them for fuel. What with the inexplicable demand we have for die cast, Transformers don't even make good fuel.

Dollar for dollar, $1,000 in clothes will likely land you a job and possibly get you laid. $1,000 in transformers will make you objectively poorer and will in most circumstances likely reduce your chances of getting laid.

Don't make this argument. Not because your wife will kill you. Instead, don't make this argument because you'll just sound petty AND stupid.

Lucked out that my wife not only condones this addiction, but actually supports it by buying me a few pieces.

And when she saw the prices and post about some of the items in my collection....well.....lets just say she's now more secure about retirement....
