It looks like the POTP Optimus or something. Pretty decent for a Hasbro product.

 

definitely potp optimus.
and completely unaltered from what I can tell.

from a distance he kinda looks like an MP-10 KO, but up close(and in vehicle mode) his flaws become very clear.
still a good one to get if you want a complete truck optimus to play with.

 

I wouldn’t say an MP-10 KO, it just bares a heavy resemblance to the cartoon. But yeah, I’m using this because of the grey fists and the fact that the truck and trailer are both incorporated into the robot. The blue fists never really appealed to me.

 

Let it be known FUCK THIS TOY. had both mine a little over a month now, only was brave enough to transform one into car mode (never EVER again)

Tried to take her apart to put her back to robot mode from car mode since her transformation is almost impossible and still can't get her back to robot mode. fuck this toy.

I left her in many pieces back in her box. bout to toss her in the trash.

Thankfully I have an extra and I am NEVER EVER transforming my second one.

This toy is more impossible to transform that any michael bay movie transformer in existence.

This will be my last Fanstoys purchase.

 

I dont think its that bad, Ive gotten the hang of it after the repair, Micheal Bay......I cant for the life of me transform the large scale Bumblebee that I have, its ben in car mode for years, I think the tabs or something are frozen on it.
My Rotf Prime is about the same difficulty as Arcee to me.
Dont give up just yet.

 

Sorry to hear that was your experience. My only issue was getting the windshield through that small space and it popped the rivits. That aside all went well. I'm going back to robot mode soon and waiting for my replacement parts.

 

I’m not trying to negate your aggravation but the steps to the transformation are pretty simple; dealing with the parts being floppy as you move them around is all that’s really annoying. I’m curious which step could have caused you to hit such a roadblock that you took it apart like a Rubik’s cube to try and reassemble in bot mode.

 

Is there any vehicle mode storage for the weapons?

Everbody got 6 faces (including the one already attached in her helmet)

There are two 'default' looking faces that look identical, but one of them has a subtle sculpted smile. It's hard to see, because the red lips were painted on it just like the default neutral mouth lipstick.

 

Spent last night transforming all my Arcees back to robot mode to do some comparisons. I have to say, I don't know of a single Arcee out there that doesn't have at least one bugbear in the transformation. All of them involve chicanery in getting the head and chest through the hood of the car mode.

Arcee's character model/alt mode just isn't compatible with simple, easy, intuitive transformations IMO.

 

Got mine. Used glue to solidify the connection of the two small screws that hold the alt chest on. Don't trust those at all after my first copies didn't hold at all.

Transformed it watching Paiks video. The transformation scheme doesn't bother me but I hate it because: 1) The legs don't really snap into anything keeping them snug up there in car mode. 2) Getting the head not to drag is a awful since it also doesn't snap into place. 3) I worry I'm going to break the chest apart at the prior mentioned connection point.

I'll put it in robot mode and never transform it again. Grrrr. I hate that.

 

Decided to pull Arcee out of my kitchen trash after leaving her in there overnight as punishment for being a shitty toy.

Anyway, I watched Paik's vid. Helped a little. managed to get her back into bot mode and though and entire section of her snapped off easily so basically she can never be a car again.

Tossed her back in the box. never touching it again. to angry to look at it.

But, again... Thankfully I have my second one which I'm NEVER transforming.

To say the Least..., I think Arcee would have been much better off not being a Transformer at all and just being an action figure instead.

 

Yeah i have slight buyers remorse. She has arrived but i just don't even care to transform her.

I prefer not to do place-holders but if someone is ever able to capture the likeness and refine what FT didn't i'll probably regret it more. On the flip side, i'm glad i don't care too much about s3 bots anyway, so a statue is probably good enough for now (still annoying though). Checked another character off the G1 box at least.
