It's like a combination of KFC and DX9. LOL.

 

Why do three companies always jump on the same character at once.

Meanwhile there are tons of other characters that get no attention at all. It's weird.

 

My conspiracy theory is that the figures are designed by a group. Each person in the group then introduces their own variation  

 

"oh, company x jumped on blitzwing... maybe we should try to convince people who don't like it with out version"
"company x and y both revealed theirs, we'll tweak ours and put it out there and try to win over other people"

 

Hmmmm very interesting. I'll be curious to see something physical whenever that makes its appearance.

I do not like solution with his shoulders, he is not able to get hands up.

 

Becuase they want to capture as many sales as possible. If everybody buys either KFCs or DX9s version, are they as likely to buy FansToys, which will come out much later?

This is an early reveal by FT to say "hey, here's another option if you don't mind waiting"

I still think KFC did a great job, but this one fixes the jet mode issues , and even offers a slightly cleaner tank.

 

Well this throws a spanner in the works. Just gonna play it cool as usual, and wait to see which design I prefer.

Those legs look off putting but it's hard to explain exactly why.

Yup, and if I was in need of a Blitzwing it would be a hard choice between the two.

 

Interesting...KFC looks better all around but hard to compare actual prototype to computer graphics. FT Tank looks good but jet is not great. This is one case where I'd rather see the alt more accurate to the fictional jet since it was never anything close to a real existing one.

 

Lots of comments complaining about DX9 being flat as a plane but these guys are flat on top also. Looks good though. I wonder what they will reveal at TF-Con

 

does the tank cannon telescope. its too long in bot mode as is. how early in the design stage are you? looks pretty early but i understand why you'd wand to put it "out there" right now.

 

Oh FFS FT, I swear down, if you don't start giving me what I want instead of jumping onto whatever bandwagon other companies are currently riding you're really, gonna, TICK ME RIGHT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah well, at least I know I have 2 years to calm back down before its released.
