I always thought Omega was more of a vodka bot or at least a dry wine.
Well, my kids were in the back. So big brother had to ride up front.
Way to go big brother!
You do know it’s illegal to serve minors alcohol. LOFL!! Pic is cool. Just hope he doesn’t have to go into battle afterward. He might not have a good aim!
Omega Supreme vs Trypticon
oh wow.....not even a doubt what's holding the big lizard up....
hmm...can't tell which one had the deeper elbow bend........
Oh smack...it's the Gabe VS Terminus dance off all over again!
Pretty soon this is going to escalate into "Terminus can lean back like my Gabriel....just he keeps going all the way where Gabe stops!"
"Oh yeah....well Terminus can hold up Trypicon too....and he's even more impressive because he doesn't have the meat sweats out of the box or have to rely on a frozen shoulder ratchet to do it!"
This is not going to end well.
I want to know where the Ketchup comes into play in this battle
Whats that white thing on the table with 12 buttons and a cord?
Someone needs to do some dusting...
Feel free to stop by.
I'll leave a ladder out the front and one of those magic wand duster things.
*Please* don't break anything, but if you do, no biggie.
I was going to ask the same thing! I guess he will fill his gut with a nice juicy burger once he polishes off Trypticon. haha
So is the QC good on this guy DX9 Gabriel seems to be a mess
Qc is pretty good. Design is the issue here really. He can be a little wobbly in the hips to be perfectly frank. If you angle out his legs a little so they're not perfectly front and center, it stabilizes him. Even better, the ratchets for that are easy to get at and very visible (during transformation) and there is a big honkin' screw in each one. I tightened all 4 on mine just a little and it helped A LOT. The actually quality of the figure is great. Gabe's hip ratchets stand even firmer but they're too damn tight. Either people have them locked up out of the box or they try to take it apart and fix them and the screws all bust off.
It's really a trade off as neither is perfect but I don't regret my purchase for this guy. The only other issue is his backpack with the wings seems to want to lift off from it's lock points for some people when you position his arms but you just push it back down and it's fine. It's more annoying than "OMG it's broken". I'm a pose and done guy and he does that just fine.
Last thing I can think off is some people are making a really really big deal out his leg transformation like it's the hardest thing ever. That's people who chose a different product and want something to pick on. It's not hard, just a matter of flipping panels around. Sure it coulda been done simpler but there isn't anything wrong with it. It works just fine and isn't like it's a challenge or something. You want a challenge go buy BC Sunsurge or Wardog...that's a challenge! For the legs, watch Emgo's review...he shows it really well and he gets through that part in about 2 minutes.
That's my take on it. Is it a good buy? Absolutely.
Honestly, if I had to pick a "Winner" in the QC, Design Omega Supreme wars, I'd have to amazingly give it Weijang. Everyone who has one seems happy and their figures don't seem to have QC or design issues (assuming you like the look of that Omega). Who would have thought?
How’s the blue version of this guy? With all the QC problems their Omega has, I’m thinking of adding a blue to my regular FT one. How has your 20G been doing?
I haven't had any issues with my FT Omega. I'll try to get some hands on time with my FT20G when I get a chance and report back. Seeing as how it is a limited repaint I didn't want to miss out.
