I think the concern is can the figure handle any shelf rocking. Collectors with small children understand that concern pretty well.

this... x 100. A smaller figure falling from a shelf because someone bumped it is no big deal, but something this big could cause some serious damage. Don't get me wrong, It looks like it'll survive general accidental bumpage just fine, plus I'm putting him on the bottom shelf, so it's not like a 15lb weight falling from 8 feet. But it's still a concern for folks with little kids. Or if you're just clumsy like my wife (don't tell her I said that :) )

Well, I once bumped into a shelve and my FT Soar fell off. I could catch him in time, but had a heartrate of 200+ then.

Right, this isn't rocket science, gang. Do exactly what you do with everything else when you're childproofing a room: Don't place large, heavy objects up high where they can fall and do damage. No bipedal figure posed in a standing position is going to be so stable that you'd want to take that risk.

Also, as some collectors with children know (and others seem intent on learning the hard way), you keep your premium collection in a room or area of the home that's blocked off from child access. Give the kids toys to play with, not expensive or dangerous items.

Went into A3U this afternoon to pick up Grinder-X and IF Seekers... Did not expect to see OS on display. Freaking hell... He's bigger than my dogs. Anyway, after leering OS and hyperventilating like as if it's the first time I saw b00bs, I think it's safe to say, I will get him once I figure out where to display him.

Everybody email his wife quick! :D
My girlfriends the same way, I can symphasize with you dude. ;)

Going to put my TG on the floor for now when I get him. Still working on his spot, but he will still be low, close to the floor. Don't have pets or kids to worry about.

I had this thought myself. I really can't wait for TG to show up. He's going to be absolutely epic.

Thanks! I'm sure they appreciate your comment. They are monsters though... If I take my eyes off the brown guy especially, he will make yellow highlights on vertically standing objects.
