Fanstoys don't need that shoddy boxart when their products look sooooooo good!

@dalianjj : Just stick one of those shots on the box and you're sorted.

That is one good looking Omega Supreme, glad I pre-ordered him through Rub. Not a fan of the red star but doesn't appear to visible in bot mode (at least not overtly). The knee gap is a biggie though, to me it looks really bad like Pac-Man. Not sure how it could have been avoided unless the knee and upper/lower legs were a single piece, but that doesn't seem easy given his transformation. Disappointing but not cancelling because of it.

I think this may be one of FTs latest offerings that I'm not having an issue with. Don't want massive detailing as ...well his main body is a tank and for the most part tanks are smooth. Arms are rockets so again smooth and the legs are the tracks. Never seen cybertronian tracks so those can be smooth as well.

All in all I like it. Glad I have my PO is for this.

I kinda agree. I like the 'plain' look, as it is true to the source material, but at the same time, it doesn't look like a $500 figure to me. I think I feel this way about Phoenix as well after receiving him and handling him, but at least he was bigger than Grinder and almost the same price. Oh well. I hope he is delayed until late summer. My disposable income is really taking a hit this month and next.

Would have preferred a solid red chest vs the clear, but the rest looks great. My guess is they were going for the gloss look that he had on the show, but I believe it was only the upper portion where they added the glare

Still not convinced. Hope to see a test shot review soon.

Stunning! I can hardly wait to get this! As others have said, the only issue I see is the swirly grey plastic. The DiBots didn't have this issue, so I really hope this is fixed in the final production version.

Also, did @dalianjj confirm a while back that there would be both clear and solid chest pieces or am I imagining things?

What is with swirly plastic anyways??

Is it a designers choice or just cheaper plastic?

I actually like the look of swirly plastic on most figs that end up with it and I have no idea why. :lol

I'm with ya! I see people complaining about it all the time, but I kind of like the way it looks.

I thought he said that, but when I looked for it, I didn't see it, probably missed it. All the test shot pics showed a clear chest, so I just assumed I was imagining it.

It's a tough balance all 3P have to walk. Either they go 100% toon and we complain or they go 100% toy and we complain or they go 100% their own thing and we complain. I think BSF said it in one of his videos that we all have this image of how the figure/character should be in our head based on our memories as little kids watching the cartoon and move. When we watch the stuff now, it can be kind of hoakey - but when we were kids, these bots were larger than life heroes! I want the toy to be larger than life.

It's not easy feat for sure - plus we all have different expectations too which doesn't help...

BTW...it's not a $500 figure if you know where to look... psst.. rub deals.
