I'll do that. I have ocd and it'll bother me if there's some paint left. But thank you for your ideas. I'll try an old toothbrush. I want to avoid scratching the plastic as much as I can.

I guess we weren't loud enough. Watch as the reissue will have a green face..o_O

Yep. Hell, even the prototype of Apache and the G1 toy had a green face. They dropped the ball there. At least, its fixable with the rubbing alcohol method.

Not to mention only 2 of the 4 tires are rubber unfortunately.

True. Maybe they were trying to mimic the G1 toy?

Hmm, TFSource and TCP (and probably others) have preorders up for April, so I guess it is getting a reissue.

This is one of his biggest problems for me, asthetic issues aside (mega shoulders) the rear tyres being plastic is just bad.

It wasn't an absolute deal breaker for me as I own the figure. Still, I would have liked to see all 4 tires be made of rubber plus additional facial expressions in grey and green.

It's certainly not a deal breaker but a big disappointment, I thought it was a pretty standard thing now to have decent wheels, particularly when they use rubber on the fronts. My main problem with non rubber tyres is you might as well have not rotating ones and use that to improve the transformation ( Arcee being an example, if you didnt have rotating wheels, pivots and pins you would have less to hide )

As is, the rear plastic wheels on springer are uselss, they provide no traction even if you wanted to pretend to drive him around, they might as well not spin

Is there any alternate storage point for the rifle in copter mode? I noticed the gun has a square slot near the back that doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Just the one that clips on under the copter's nose as far as I've found.

Almost pulled the trigger. Then saw Allen with movie comparison pics. Decided I’ll just use Allen as my Springer. Apache looks great but price and transformation made me hesitate.

Whatever floats your boat. Apache is the definitive MP Springer, for now.

Saving $135 goes a long way. Allen has a better transformation but materials as well as fit and finish go to Apache. Allen ain’t bad tho. Both solid in my book.

Why so much on msrp? I've seen him selling for 160...I'd probably buy it, if it were around or under 125.00
