Still, its a pretty minor problem for how great this guy looks.

 

I agree. I'm not bothered by a little paint chipping on him especially since . he is such a fantastic figure.

Now I want to start building some backdrops from wood to support some chain base kit backdrops or some orange gear ark walls. That's the next step. Furniture backdrop is meh. LOFL!

Just messed with mine that I finally got yesterday. I really like him, proportions and heft are great and the transformation is involved but not aggravating. The car mode is a bear in the rear but easy enough.

I knew this guy was going to be awesome. I'm really enjoying messing around with him. My one complaint is I'm still not a fan of the green on the thighs on hands. Wish they would have stuck with the beige, but what's done is done. Face is amazing and I'm really glad they went with the white. Otherwise, amazing figure and I can't wait to transform him to check out the alt modes.

I know modifying expensive figures is anathema for some folks, but I can confirm from personal experience that the underlying plastic is in fact green, and the gray paint comes off pretty easily after soaking in rubbing alcohol.

 

I just tried. The first time it just took me to an empty cart, the second time it added it (I didn't buy, I have mine). It may just be a bug in their system. Try 2 or 3 times if it doesn't work the first time, it still says "In Stock".

Is the underlying plastic the same shade of green as the hands and thighs?
