Congrats on getting such a great looking bot.

Luckily, my canopy isn't loose yet. When it gets so, I am going to use my tried an true fix of a touch of PVA glue along the rail.

It dries clear and doesn't damage surfaces. It may not be as long lasting of a fix as acrylic polymer, but it is cheap, readily available and you don't really have to worry about using too much as excess just flakes away.

This thread bump just makes me wish that FT would get around to finally releasing their Skullcruncher.  

 

I really hope if & when they re-release this, its released in its proper colors: gray head & off white wolf head. like they color tweek their later reissues like Scoria for instance

£225 is on the high end for sure. Seen a couple around the 160 mark pop up now and again.

 

I just hate letting figures that Iike go. Also it might go higher, but a reissue kills it. There's 2 on ebay for 235.

 

Yea it's always a dilemma when selling, if you bought him at retail thats already a huge mark up.
Hoping it will go up in value is a fools game in 3rd party.. it only takes another company to announce one in the future for the price to plummet.

Unless there is a re-issue/announcement I suspect Lupus will have another price bump when Skullcruncher comes along

 

I agree with everything you just said. I can't imagine them reissuing him but they can be strange in their choices.

 

I've accidentally wore some of the metallic silver paint of Lupus' chest piece whilst removing his old insignia, anyone know what kinda paint i'll need to fix him up? I've never had to touch up a bot before.

 

pop a message to Fanstoys first, they are pretty good with replacement pieces if they have any

 

I was thinking about that, but I don't know how I would remove the chest piece to replace it as they isn't an east screw to undo. do you recon the pin holding the chest piece in would be easy to remove?

 

They arent normally too hard to get out but ideally you need to know which way it went in to push it out in reverse, there is a course end to the pins (which act as a lock) you want to make sure that end comes out first to avoid any damage

I wrote dalianjj and asked him If I should pull the trigger on resale prices for lupus. He told me to just wait because a reissue is coming. However there is no eta at the moment. Oh well, I’ll guess I’ll wait it out...
