Nothing like him for me Cheebs. Feminine lips, eyes look like spectacles; reminds me of the 3P Sunstreaker that's coming out.

3P mp-based products sort of fall into two categories for me: ones where I can't imagine Takara coming up with a better likeness of a character and ones where I imagine that they can. This is a rare example for FT of the latter case, imo.

But hey, each to their own. FT are an awesome company and I wish them every success with the figure, just this one's not for me. I'll be spending on Spotter/Reflector.

I like his height. IIRC he was actually a little smaller on the scale chart as well, although looking at FT's photos, he 'feels right' to me, so I'm happy.

Completely agree. He has the right mix of arrogance and steely determinism.

Panda, looking at the prototype pictures versus the cartoon again, I wonder if the back part of the feet (the ankle / heel) will be red, rather than black.

Although this is not a cartoon picture, this is how he's typically represented:



Notice the way the legs mold around his feet, whereas he has much more defined ankles on the FT prototype. However, there is a noticeable raised area at the back of the feet which, if coloured red, might blend in a little better and make it look more like the cartoon.

Thoughts?

Oh lord. My wife already noticed I've gotten a bunch of toys recently (wheeljack, BB, soar and transistor). Between Ultra magnus being in transit, and Sever being in the future...these new releases are going to really going to make her question my sanity.
