Both X versions of Soar each come with a set of clear blue wings and a set of chrome wings like TylerB mentioned. If you need any extra parts you can try shooting an email to [email protected] or send a PM (click Conversations) on this website to @dalianjj

 

No probs. Just keep in mind the chrome wings on the X version have a slight blue tint to them. On the other hand the regular version include standard chrome wings with no blue tint (still looks good IMO) and also includes a set of non-chrome grey wings.

 

So regular Blue FT-05 Soar is nowhere to be found.

Any rumors or whispers that this will get another Re-Issue from FansToys?

Great idea, Chrome Magnus! So I did.

First, dalianjj was timely and forthright in his responses to my questions. I very much appreciate that. Dalianjj at FansToys is a 3P superstar.

Unfortunately, dalianjj did not have the answers I was hoping for.

I asked about another re-issue of Blue Soar FT-05. Dalianjj response: "no plan for now, it need at least 1000 pieces of order to do a reissue."

I also asked about the availability of gold parts for Soar (with an eye towards the FT-05T gold conversion). Dalianjj response: "sorry, no extra ft05 gold part available from factory anymore"

So there you go. Disappointing info for me (looks like I'm too late to the Soar Party), but hopefully this info might help other Soar collectors out in the community. And thanks again to dalianjj for his accessibility on these forums - and the terrific work FansToys does.

 

Man, sorry to hear that. You can always try hunting down loose accessories on Ebay. I've seen Soar's beak and wings on Ebay a few times before. They pop up from time to time. FT is supposed to be offering bonus accessory kit that comes with Grinder available in a month or two. This is the kit with the new faces for Soar, Scoria, and Stomp and the gold die cast thigh pieces for Soar. Maybe you can source the thigh pieces that way.

do what Badcube did with Sunsurge reisue, sell this many pre orders and they make him

 

It certainly would sell. Its gonna decide if I'm going giga or ft for my dinobots. And lowering the.price to $150 would help a lot

Gutted I haven't been able to get the FT Dinobots yet, I'm on a limited budget right now, and I've been constantly pushing them back for other characters whom I've wanted to grab before they were sold out.

I realise I have put myself in a tough spot where im no doubt going to have pay even more for them now as I imagine Ebay will be the only option.

Grinder does. However dalianjj said that the faces/bonus accessories kit will also be available seperately around July or August (around the time Grinder X drops). This will be useful for those who need additional faces for their other versions (X, T, D etc).

I tried ordering from robotoybase a couple days ago. The product page said "in stock", but once added to the cart it was out of stock. Maybe a glitch? I could not get the order to go through.
