^^^I just bought one from Lunar Toy Store. Scheduled to be delivered tomorrow...

Edit- Quakewave just arrived. Lunar Toy Store shipped him with the opaque hand and gun barrel if I want to switch and the part to attach the hose underneath. Also came with the batteries installed!

Looks great with my other Decepticon MPs.

The Decepticon shelf is pretty much complete until we get a Megatron v2.

Man I need to get this figure. I'm low on money right now, but hopefully I can get my hands on one soon.

I'm not sure if it's been covered in the thread, but can anyone recommend some Decepticon emblems for him? I'm looking for something preferably without the white around the edges, so it appears more natural, and something that isn't likely to peel or wear easily.

    Thanks!

Most of you probably caught this already but I thought it was worth pointing out for the few, like myself, that missed it at first.

The torso can extend a bit right above his waist. Out of the box he comes with this collapsed for weapon mode. The waist extension is shown on the page that comes between steps 6 and 7 but it's easy to miss because in the same step you're transforming his legs into the handle/rear of the gun.

I don't Recall the Character of Shockwave very much. For me he was always the guy who was left on Cybertron^^

Now I finally made a jump on him, mostly because there was no other thing to buy atm and I realised that Takara won't make an official one in the next couple of years.

After saying this, I must admit that Qualewave is a really good Stand-in for Shocky. He is well crafted and is a true homage to his respective Character.

Can he be improved? Yes, but this are minor nitpicks for me. He works really well with MP-Transformers and is a needed Addition to the relatively few Decepticons.

So if you want an MP Sized Shockave, this is as close as you will get.

    Go, buy it!

So will any generic CR1025 battery from ebay work? Or should I get a name brand one for substantially more?

Anyone looking for the CR batteries; your local Radio Shack should have both kinds in stock. I've been oogling reviews and pictures for Quakewave for awhile now (really wanna take the plunge and buy him) and I keep hearing people talking about how hard to come by those batteries are. That just confused me since having worked at a Radio Shack for over a year I'd be next to tons of them every day. I'm hoping to buy this guy soon, so hopefully I'll be joining all of you in enjoying what looks to be an amazing figure.

Wow. Just wow. This is truly a masterpiece figure. My only complaint would be how hard it was to push in the legs initially. I'm glad I picked him up before the price skyrockets, and it will. I can't wait for Scoria!

    Ebay:
ordered a quakewave from chimungmung today, said was last one in stock, came to like 238 shipped, still cheaper than getting off ebay via buy it now (roughly 300 shipped).

was debating on whether getting this one or the grey one from toy dojo (200 shipped), but ended up spending the extra 40 bucks for the purple version

if i really like this mold I might end up picking up the grey version later, and the upcoming dinobots, in the meantime I will be checking out this thread till it arrives, have only read good things so far.

    anyone bought from chimungmung before?
