Are those stickers from reprolabels (clean outline toon versions)? I didn't realize how good they'd look on this. I only have the grey Quakewave (TD exclusive).

 

They're the white outline labels that they are currently including for free on orders of $20 or more.

Instead of doing a whole new figure, I wish they could do an upgrade like a new pair of legs, in the same way they did a clear Scoria head and more toon accurate head for Grinder. Wouldn't be as expensive and the previous Quakewave owners wouldn't need to shell out for a new figure.

 

I'd be down for that. The legs were one of the few things I really liked on the official MP design, albeit rather skinny.

True. Those ugly legs really make me hate the official figure. They look even slimmer than the animation model. Definitely worse than chunky QW. A middle way would be the perfect solution! (And no, QB is not the solution, since I don't want my Shocky to have Sideshow Bob's clown feet either!)

 

For me it wasn't even the legs, it was the skinny stick feet. My biggest nitpick of the MP. Shade of purple and overall size being the others.

 

Just got my FT-03C..looking forward to putting him next to my clear bugs. After seeing the clear MPP10, I may need to do a shelf for clear figures. On point tho...FT-03C looks awesome

 

Quakewave looks like he can beat the shit out of Laserwave.

 

The slender legs only really work with Megs. Shockwave needs bigger boots.

 

Does the darker purple toy version include the solid opaque hand and barrel set is just the clear set?

 

I believe that only the first issue toon version came with the alternate hands. The reissues just have the clear/purple hands and cannon.

It's worth a try. I'd definitely pick up another QW if they fixed his legs.

 

I doubt they'd consider it. Plus they'd have to do the upgrade in 4 different colors. But I'd definitely be very interested in that for my V1.

 

I can't imagine how they'd do this- the legs become the handgrip and back of the body of the "gun." The figure was engineered as a complete unit and just "changing" the legs probably is a pipe dream.  

 

^ Sadly you're right, they said they don't have any plans for an upgrade kit. Feel kinda disappointed but if they don't want to do it then we can't make them.
