I'm still a little new to this but isn't it odd that the appendage kit cost more than the actual toy?

that's the difference between mass production by Hasbro and a small operation like fansproject.

BBTS has had it for pre-order for months now. You can order fansproject stuff from pretty much any of the online stores that sell TF stuff. If you want FPs website, it's FansProject

it is more money, but from their mouths this is an extremely limited kit compared to their other stuff and even that stuff is expensive, but worth it, the commander upgrades are top notch in quality, and they do good work

Hasbro is selling Superion at Targets across the country and in retailers oveseas.

FP is selling the add-on through a handful of online retailers, possibly some stores in Asia.
